Salute to Shannon this was brilliantly done and promoted and edited. Unc is focused
This is ESSENTIALLY not an interview
It's a youtube comedy special
Which made EVERYONE forgot the bad netflix special Katt dropped recently
Katt killed this and for the YEAR we will quote this. He dropped killer punchlines. And showed talent counts agents directors etc he is healthy and focused.
Katt was flat out funny
And all his targets are trending giving interviews getting attention except for kinds Cedric no real nasty shot.
No disrespect but could Kevin do this for 90 min like this? Cedric, Steve interview wasn't this funny for Shannon.
I think even UNFILTERED?
They couldn't DO what Katt just did.
How was it brilliantly promoted?
People heard that Katt was talking shit and it spread on social media like wildfire.
I didn't see it as a comedy special, because I really don't remember laughing much. It was him airing people out again that did him and others wrong.
And yes Kevin could do this for 90 minutes, and it's probably be more explosive due to his dealings worth more people in Hollywood.
I doubt Steve or Cedric could because it wouldn't be that entertaining. But they're comedians and I could be wrong.
Katt definitely shined and the interview will be remembered, but Kev already set Katt straight and it took him 6 years to recover and come up with a response.

Don't hate.
It was well shot and edited making it easily viral ready
I don't really watch Shannon and others I know who do NOT follow this stuff heard about this interview BEFORE it dropped. So he git some algorithm figured it.
I don't like 2024 Redline... too feisty.
It was prolly live streamI still have my moments after losing my pops back in March, but why record it? If you didn't mean to record it, and it just happened, because it does, why post it?
Definitely not hating, I just call a spade a spade.
If the interview was well marketed then I was wrong. Because I had no idea about his interview until it was here.
And I’m the same Redline, always just being honest. And if I don’t know something I admit it, and if I’m wrong then I’m wrong.
I have no idea if it was promoted, I just know that I didn’t hear about it until it was here.
Kev aint a plant but Definitely sold himselfKev simply said that Katt spews bullshit so why entertain it.
He called Kev an industry plant. Most have seen and know his background and it's clearly not true.
You can actually see his history and path to success.
Bro...Never f*cking change
You my brother for real fo real
But umm... you are extra feisty for the 2024 season
Unfortunately with all the attention he's getting, there will be nothing else but Katt doing the dozens for the next 5 years.
This is true
But at least we know if anyone could take that lane for a career choice AND still be fresh and entertaining?
It's Katt
Yeah, I hadn't thought of that possibility. That makes sense. It was prolly live stream
Ill bump this to 47 pgs if you keep posting these thick fine specimens in your sig. Got me forgetting wtf I'm responding toOh yeah this will be 32 pages in no time cuzzo.
What Lavell said is spot on. Black folk stay fighting for 1 bag.
I see your point. I think Cube was IMO saying he didn't want his movie to look like a Tubi type of movie, therefore most of the funds went to a more quality type of production. I believe Cube wanted his legacy to be "better". I also think he was trying to say that even though the pay was low, the actors that played in the movies could use that as a catapult to jump start their careers. I guess what I'm trying to say is that sometimes small roles, small paydays can lead to bigger and better things.Right, because most of them said they hardly made any money when that friday movie was made after it was top box office movie back then
bro they all be doing it. they have been beefing for years.I mean, say what you want about all these other comedians, you can go to the shows have some laughs and a good time and leave with a positive vibe.
Katt Williams ENTIRE style and gimmick is nonstop toxic negativity. I'm going to lash out and attack people. And the energy from it is to have our community excited to watch us attack and come after each other.
Grown ass man with nothing to offer but lashing out and attacking.
I didn't find it all that entertaining. I didn't even watch the whole thing. But, hey if there is an audience that likes it. I'm glad folks are getting some enjoyment.
You're right sometimes if you bet on yourself taking a low paying gig and depending on how good that person is doing the job could lead to something bigger but then again a person got a family to feed and I'm sure they would want some royalty money too after the movie became a success after taking a paycut.I see your point. After Turning Down $2M For Singing In 'The Lion King,' Jason Weaver Celebrates Double-Platinum Track 30 Years Later
Jason Weaver is still earning big bucks after turning down a hefty offer from Disney for his role in “The Lion King.”
As AFROTECH previously told you, the actor played the singing voice of Young Simba and was offered a $2 million check up front.
Although it was his largest offer at the time, he ultimately was encouraged by his mother to decline. Instead, she suggested that he not take a flat rate considering what Disney would make from the movie and that it would likely be rereleased. Weaver ending up taking a $100,000 check up front and a lifetime of royalties for the 1994 film.
“She was able to see the playing field and go, ‘Wait a minute, this is going to make a lot of money over time. So, what happens when my son turns 40. Is he still going to be able to get a check from this when they eventually re-release this,’” Weaver told VLADTV.
To this day, Weaver remains grateful to his mom for the business decision.
Recently, he took to Instagram to share a new milestone associated with his performance in “The Lion King.” He received an award plaque for the song, “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King,” reaching double-platinum status and selling 2 million copies.
