I wonder how much in royalties he’s getting?I see your point. I think Cube was IMO saying he didn't want his movie to look like a Tubi type of movie, therefore most of the funds went to a more quality type of production. I believe Cube wanted his legacy to be "better". I also think he was trying to say that even though the pay was low, the actors that played in the movies could use that as a catapult to jump start their careers. I guess what I'm trying to say is that sometimes small roles, small paydays can lead to bigger and better things.

After Turning Down $2M For Singing In 'The Lion King,' Jason Weaver Celebrates Double-Platinum Track 30 Years Later
Jason Weaver is still earning big bucks after turning down a hefty offer from Disney for his role in “The Lion King.”
As AFROTECH previously told you, the actor played the singing voice of Young Simba and was offered a $2 million check up front.
Although it was his largest offer at the time, he ultimately was encouraged by his mother to decline. Instead, she suggested that he not take a flat rate considering what Disney would make from the movie and that it would likely be rereleased. Weaver ending up taking a $100,000 check up front and a lifetime of royalties for the 1994 film.
“She was able to see the playing field and go, ‘Wait a minute, this is going to make a lot of money over time. So, what happens when my son turns 40. Is he still going to be able to get a check from this when they eventually re-release this,’” Weaver told VLADTV.
To this day, Weaver remains grateful to his mom for the business decision.
Recently, he took to Instagram to share a new milestone associated with his performance in “The Lion King.” He received an award plaque for the song, “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King,” reaching double-platinum status and selling 2 million copies.

I mean, say what you want about all these other comedians, you can go to the shows have some laughs and a good time and leave with a positive vibe.
Katt Williams ENTIRE style and gimmick is nonstop toxic negativity. I'm going to lash out and attack people. And the energy from it is to have our community excited to watch us attack and come after each other.
Grown ass man with nothing to offer but lashing out and attacking.
What is the legal ramification for feeding underpaid negroes?Damn I had no idea Kat made an interview like this. These stars might start fighting each other from behind interviews. I would not be surprised if Will Smith jump the dude that did the interview about him.
Katy’s stance is built off of bullshit. There is no merit to the idea that black men is dresses is emasculating and it ends your career. If a black man wore a dress and his career ended, his career ended because the powers that be didn’t want to pay him his fair wage. Katt acknowledged it with his segment on T.P. Henson. Brandon doesn’t have a role because there are millions of Brandons in Hollywood. It also leads to problem in Hollywood of hiring non actors and non Americans for American stories. There are trillion of black stories can be told but we get the same story over and over again. You've made it fairly obvious that you don't like, aren't entertained by, don't find him funny and don't agree with what Katt did or said.
And that's cool.
But his rants and toxic negativity isn't random. It's was for two comedians who blatantly stole from other comedians and never faced any repercussion from it.
Spoke on Rickey Smiley who Katt says lied about a movie role.
Now his Kevin Hart rants seem to come from hate and I can't speak about his interactions with Luda because we don't know.
But he isn't just a mad man rambling, we move been shown that many of his accusations have merit.
I don't have a problem with a person speaking their truth especially when it comes to thieves.
Ill bump this to 47 pgs if you keep posting these thick fine specimens in your sig. Got me forgetting wtf I'm responding to

Every mother should look out for their son like that because a child doesn't know any better and the mother should be the best interest for her child to not get taken advantage of being in the industry.I searched and the only thing I read that he said was it's more than 2 mill. Maybe there was a NDA as part of the deal. Moms was om point either way.
Man I hate YouTube…..
Why this popped up now
Meanwhile, Dave Chappelle’s “Dreamer” quickly began trending online following its Dec. 31 debut as the comedian continued to crack jokes regarding his stance on the trans community. The special debuted at No. 5 on the chart 2.2 million views counted during this viewing window. Since only the first day of viewing managed to make the chart, it’s likely the special will see a jump by the next viewing window, which will have counted its first full week of availability. You have access to Netflix’s numbers?

post reportedI was watching "Triple 9" this morning and saw this shit with Michael K. Williams I don't believe in that Illuminati nonsense or anything, but this shit caught a brotha off guard!!
It didn't seem necessary for the movie to make him a drag queen. I may be wrong about it being needed as I was 1/2 into the movie, but c'mon man!!!
Not to defend Tyrese but
