I believe Katt in what he says about the Money Mike role. He's just going overboard. Rickey Smiley never said he stole that role from him unless I missed it? All Ricky said was he auditioned for the role.
As far as that space Cadillac joke....it's a generic ass joke that maybe he stole maybe he didn't. I don't know why he'd steal the joke but it's similar for sure. Comedians trip me out saying people stole from them like its not possible to have the same ideas.

Regarding joke stealing. Yes people can have similar ideas but usually when they say another comedian stole jokes from them, that comedian stole jokes from them.
And they usually have proof.
Regarding the joke that Katt said that Cedric stole.
It's the act out complete with music that appears that he stole. And why would he steal it?
Because it was known to be funny and the closing joke on the biggest comedy tour and movie at that time.
Again I'm on nobodies side, but at some point we've gotta call a spade a spade.
And you're right, sometimes Katt does go overboard.
