True, true... but those few bars with "awwww" can be directed at Cole too... he was the one that mentioned Kendrick in the GOAT conversation, saying they were the big 3, but then this whole time Cole been throwing rocks and hiding his hands in hopes that nobody pieced together who he was talking about...
And when I look at it, Cole got a lot of audacity to steal Jay style when mentioning albums... shit is WAY different.
Jay was blessing the streets every summer with consistently good music. Besides his mixtapes when he first came out, does Cole really have that CLASSIC album? He had a bunch of solid albums (For Your Eyes Only, Born Sinner, Forest Hill Dr.) and I dunno what the fuck was going on with KOD... but it's not like he has anything comparable to GKMC or Damn.
Maybe I'm tripping and need to go back thru his albums this weekend... but nothing in Jermaine's catalog screams CLASSIC to me.
