Niggas know it weak because they said they had to listen to it 4 times to get something new out of it. Kendrick is nice on the mic but we need to keep it real. Shit was not what we were expecting

You trolling?

I used to love cassettes so I could listen to the tape, THEN read the lyrics on the liner notes so I could REALLY see what Kane, or Rakim was saying and meant. And even after that era was over I use to go on OHHLA to read the lyrics to the songs I downloaded off Napster or Limewire. It's how I first caught Jay's diss to Sean Paul.

On another note, the first album I ever bought with my own money was Amerikkka's Most Wanted. My mom sent me to the record store with a note saying I could buy it. SHE HATED hip hop (she was into Genesis, Sting, Tina Turner, etc). She sat me down and let me listen to the album all the way through. Then started from the beginning and broke down the lyrics line for line so I knew what I was listening to. She still hated hip hop after that but she ended up loving Ice Cube because of the poetry on the album.

Fam this is a diss song. If you have to go back and listen then it ain’t hit like is supposed to. The mistake rappers make is forgetting a “Diss Record” is still a song and it needs to flow like one.

A nigga just rambling on a track aint it

I have to say lyrically this is an ill diss track, one of the best in years.

My only negative, if you can call it that, is I wish he would have went with a different track and flow since I don't feel this track will have the longevity of tracks like The Takeover, Hit em Up, etc.

But he also may not give a damn about that.

Also you're bugging if you think this is over. Drake can't afford to not respond to this after not responding to Pusha T.

I know you the new breed of hip hop cause real ones know your track/album wasn’t shit if you ain’t hit the rewind button multiple times.

Lazy one listen raps get no respect.

that shyt was ass.

i'll say this, Kendrick did enough for his fans to be like OHMYGOD did you hear what he said but he recycled every angle we've already heard about Drake.

maybe i would feel differently about this if he had put it out 2 weeks ago
I thought that too
But then I started reading some of the lines, as people posted them
Kendrick Lamar got at that nigga on a deeper level
