Because it's a lot of pedo storylines in it

Just like it's double entendres in a lot of what Kendrick was rapping about.

What's that Jay-Z quote
Yeah i'm not hearing it. I like K Dot and this shit is fire but sometime y'all have a tendency to make some shit up that ain't there. That show...from what I remember was a parent and a trans girl in the 1st season.....seems like a reach....

And he never used the nword till he started rappin

Which is why I never bought his explanation about the blackface picture. He said it was a statement for the struggle of Black actors trying to get work and being discriminated against. Yet none of his music reflects that struggle. So once he got on he no longer cared about Black issues orrrrrrrrrr......

I said this when LIKE THAT dropped. It was never about Cole. Cole was just standing next to the opps. I think Cole realized that. The hip hop artist in me wanted to see him battle, but if something ain't in your heart, step the fuck back. You see he didn't have shit to say. Nigga said TPAB was wack then had to walk it back knowing he was lying.
Exactly. Someone probably reached out to him....TDE x Dreamville always been tight....to me what Cole said wasnt' worth apologizing and I still don't get why he did but maybe it was a good faith thing since they cool. Cole in they league but this battle here is about something else. Something been brewing between Dot and Drake and IMO, Dot is what Drake wants to be but can't be. Also probably some bigger shit in there but Dot knows which is why he's reminding him he ain't black. Ross did the same thing. This must be a trigger point for him because they all calling him white lol.

Anyone get the feeling that Drake wasn't allowed to rock the hip hop name brands back in the day? And that's why at almost 40 he got his first straight backs and a State Prop shirt. Nigga I had that shirt back in like 2003
Probably. It was a lot of shoes I couldn't get when I was younger because they were too expensive. Got older and got all them hoes. Now he was a child actor so he of course had the money but mama wasn't playing that shit. That's why he almost 40 and look like he do. He trying to relive the era he missed.

I watched the first season. It was about a drug addict teenager (Zendaya) navigating high school and her addiction. Her best friend was trans but the show wasn't about her. And it was a shit ton of sex in it. From the overly sexualized cool girls, to the fat girl who started a fetish page (read Onlyfans) to own her sexuality. The series was well written, and Zendaya was great in it, but that shit was cringe at points.

Of note, Colman Domingo was an absolutely beats on the series as Zendaya's NA sponsor. If you don't want to watch the series but want to see a masterclass in acting, check out the one off episode those two did in a diner (it was filmed during Covid so minimal cast/crew)

Which ties into this line:

"How many more fairy tale stories about your life till we had enough?
How many more black features till you finally feel that you're black enough?"

Yeah there was a discussion thread about the show on here. Zendaya killed that role especially in the final episodes of the last season. Show is basically a Millennial /Gen-z version of "KIDS"

Could stand Gillie since the "Yeah that's us video". You just know when hear an artist and know that they're gonna be terrible forever.

lol

I actually copped that debut major figgas album back in the day..it had some joints on there. " is it my style" " I love being a gangsta" etc.

Dutch and Spade, Gilly and Ab LIVA were the best emcees in that group.

One thing I will say is that it actually look like grown people playing kids. Kids....they were probably over 18 but Larry Clark pushed it...he liked hiring actors who looked young.....Kids wasn't as bad as some of his other shit but he got some sick movies that I watched in high school that i'll never watch again.
