I'm angry and devastated at the same time.
On one hand, just coming to terms with the reality that the homie and his daughter passed, and more people to be named at a later point, and feeling for their families and the people who looked up to him and were mentored by him and how they feel. May they all find peace.
But on the other hand, just seeing how people are using this tragedy as an opportunity to show their entire ass is aggravating me to the core.
Like why are the interviewing Doc Rivers like two hours after the shit happened?
Why is CNN talking about ALLEGATIONS from 15 years ago?
How is it people trolling for attention. You know emotions are high, this is the optimal time for you to say some bullshit so people can turn their attention to you?
These blogs are so desperate for views they went and found some random ass helicopter crash and said Kobe in there without doing one bit of fact checking.
Dumb ass bitches and kids on Twitter talking about "Lebron got to win a ring this year, he owe Kobe", wtf a ring gone do?
Where's the empathy? Fuck if you liked him or not about this basketball shit, what about compassion for him as a human? Or for his wife who lost her husband and her daughter in the same day, and I heard the other one might have had an asthma attack about it, too? What about compassion for her?
Like what the fuck is wrong with this society?
