All the review blogs are saying Montrose is gay. How many times Omar gone play a battyboy?
Damn. I was/am hoping that ain't the case. Read the summary of this week's episode = "and sending Montrose into the comforting arms of his secret lover." So I then went to see the cast of episode 5 and its only a hand full of women in the episode... a lot of dudes and kids. I maybe dell? Maybe ol girl that just started working at the spot leti sis wanted to work at.

Your not gonna really fine many hermaphrodites due to it being rare and if someone is born with ambiguous genitalia they usually have a surgery performed on them shortly afterward to "make them" one gender

I really want to like this show.
Being a fan of the book and all.

But I'm finding it a bit frustrating.
Especially in regards to the writing and structure.
It's like some plot points and scenes go by so fast without explanation.
Or the characters overly explain shit like we can't get it.
The "jump scares" and "scary music" are silly and typical Hollywood Horror.

It's not like I expect "LOVECRAFT COUNTRY" to be totally true to its source material.
But the show is just all over the place in its pacing, style, and structure.
Whereas stories in the book were written like vignettes that ended up correlating.
Going back to the main characters.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one here who has problems with the show's use of Modern Music for a period piece.
All the Black Music from that period of which the show is set.
Music that was even "risque" for that time.
And the showrunners uses Hip-Hop/Rap?
And Shitty Hip-Hop/Rap at that?
Yeah.
I totally hate that shit.

I was highly anticipating "LOVECRAFT COUNTRY".
Now I tend to watch it as a formality.
