The characters are flawed but unfathomably brilliant people. The story only progresses through the discernment, deductive reasoning and sheer ingenuity of it's Black characters. When before have we had anything like this?

Something doesn't have to be complete to make sense.

If you are watching a mystery that lasts an entire season you dont need the reveal of the mystery in the 1st episode.

But if shit don't make sense it don't make sense.

Y'all niggas think confusing shit just to be confusing is deep.

This show is all over the place with NO HOPE of real resolution. It is extremely poor story telling.

I did. I don't have to continue to watch to have an opinion though.


The episodes in themselves are trying to hard to be deep and are silly.
These writers are hacks and are given shows they cannot run.
You idiots watch anything that streams and looks shiny and thinks it is a masterpiece!
Loving riddles and shock and awe for no reason instead of good dialogue and story telling.

I APPRECIATE THE EFFORT though

the inconsistency I think is because some of the stuff is just too much to cram in one hour

and they want to cram in so much exposition plus Easter eggs plus homages plus story progression plus backstory

They gotta just take a breath and your RIGHT

Hippolyta ep and the 1st episode should be the blue print going forward

but the thing is

the acting is so TOP NOTCH

and I can see EVERYONE involved CARES SO MUCH

and its the FIRST season

I'm giving them a pass.

I realize Watchmen just came in and housed sh*t

but remember who the show-runner was and that cast and the budget and property.

to be fair EVERY one of the shows you named?

went 3 seasons plus ratings hits and had CLASSIC arcs episodes and seasons and won awards and were genre defining in some way

cuz, I think we would ALL be happy with THAT outcome.
