In ep1 when they were in George's shop and Tip pulled out the letter from his father. Tip mentioned that he had info on his moms ancestry...the look on his uncles face said it all. I knew there was a secret there.

Maybe "Tic" does have healing power and can still bring back Uncle George. Uncle George is like a "walking library," and I think "Tic" and "Leti" need him for guidance (I love the fact that I am learning things about history that I was not aware of because of "Uncle George"). We have only received a taste of the powers that the Braithwhite family have, and what "Tic" will be able to do with his new found power.
Side note: Did anyone notice that when "Leti" rang the bell for the butler to come that he brought her salt and pepper, but she never asked for it before hand (she was discussing how bland white folks' food can be, but I don't recall the butler being present at the time)?

It's a period series but music from that period was not a reflection of racism and black struggle. They played Whitey on the Moon I almost cried....damn that was deep shit.
looks like next episode they go back home and the story continues. i think the first two episodes were on point not too confusing, but i watch each episode twice.

Jurnee Smollett fine as froghair on this show. And her dark skin sista with the guitar is nice too. Some fine black women on this show.
