Bump
Bruh just don't watch it then. And for future references you will not be welcome in our X-Men '97 watch thread. Well not now but when there is one...don't come down to the motherfucker because you ain't getting in.*Sigh*
I hate to be "that guy", but I feel like you guys are overlooking one major issue here.
This will be a production of modern day Disney, fellas.
Unless there is a dramatic change in Disney's current "brand" of storytelling, fans might be deeply disappointed by what Disney chooses to do with "Marvel's Merry Mutants".
The heavy handed way Disney makes virtually everything they produce about feminism, racial representation and LGBTQ inclusion may sour some of your opinions of the series.
And even though a ground breaking comic book series like The X-Men has had a LONG history of being a champion of such issues, folks might be taken aback by how Disney handles them for "modern audiences".
I'm just sayin'...![]()
Real shit. Assholes!!!Anyone hating on this before even seeing one episode needs a 30 day ban.
Fuck dat nigga Night.Bruh just don't watch it then. And for future references you will not be welcome in our X-Men '97 watch thread. Well not now but when there is one...don't come down to the motherfucker because you ain't getting in.
This guy gets it.I don't trust Diz-knee to do anything right any more. Its all message, message message with them these days.
I'll proceed with caution.
They need to take a page from DC Animation. As a matter of fact, The DC's movies need to take a page from their animation.
Hotdam cpt lets just wait and see smh*Sigh*

Yeah he was wearing that outfit in the concept art.
Diz ee would be stupid to mess with a cherished IP like X-Men. They are a big business they wouldn't be that stupid to mess up their money especially with the current backlash from phase fours flops. I'm hoping they're not that stupid. This guy gets it.
Cats here are so easily duped by Disney using all the proper "member-berries" in that trailer that they forget the fucked up shit Disney has already done to popular Marvel & Star Wars characters. They think it'll be a case of going back to their childhood to enjoy a wonderful show with their own children.
But, let's see their faces when:
- Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit and the Beast are overshadowed, dumbed down or made into comic relief to promote Storm, Rouge, Jean and Jubilee.
- Disney introduces a previously unknown LGBTQ member to lead the team. (Or more focus on the "new" Iceman)
- Being more about pushing "THE MESSAGE" than about continuing to tell a great story.
They forget, this is the same studio that gave us these "wonderful" tales over the past few years:

I just hope they actually use Jubilee.
Oh and they keep those 90s softcore porn moans from Rogue, & Storm, & especially Jean.
Don't worry. There will be plenty of the strong white male characters you keep complaining about missing. This guy gets it.

Yes… I just saw this on YouTube and a tear hit my eye
I watched it back in the day and my only gripe was the animation (and the voice work was pretty wack) back then, but this brings me back big time. Us old heads gonna feel all this nostalgia big time. @playahaitian
Man I tried showing my son the original series and he wasn’t into it. Damn shameI’m so happy
I hope my son will find this as interesting as I did during my child hood.
