xxx shops and the forbidden room in the back of video storesThis series originally aired from 1992 to 1997.
Reading the replies, lots of you cats were young bucks watching this series like it was porn. But I understand cuz getting your hands on porn back then was a Struggle. Even for adults it was a embarrassing procedure to do.
HaHa!!!
I was the ages of 22 to 27 when this series originally ran. I watched it off and on, here and there.
I didn’t follow it cuz my Ass had to work a damn full time job while some of you cats were watching it after school.
It looks like they picking this series up where it left off. So I’m gonna have to go binge it too catch up before it airs.

Where are the Yams!!!!
The first 3 episodes animstion was bad and the backgrounds and layouts look like they were done by a toddler because the colors was all outside the lines but the shows animation got better progressively until by the begining of season 3. When the Phoenix saga started that's when the animation got really good. It was always about then story with X-Men more than animation. The show was entertaining and had great world building. They brought characters from the comics that I never thought I'd see in AnimTion and adopted some good storylines too.I was worried at first. As an artist, that animation was terrible (anime back then was destroying American animation and still is) So why was a top-notch property like X-men so bad? This new style kept it relative but cleaned it up and looks better. I'm excited for it.

A lot of people too are going by the last season, which really wasn't supposed to exist, so Saban went extra cheap and got a company from the Phillipines to do it instead of the one they used for the previous seasons.

Uh huh. What's "the message."This guy gets it.
Cats here are so easily duped by Disney using all the proper "member-berries" in that trailer that they forget the fucked up shit Disney has already done to popular Marvel & Star Wars characters. They think it'll be a case of going back to their childhood to enjoy a wonderful show with their own children.
But, let's see their faces when:
- Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit and the Beast are overshadowed, dumbed down or made into comic relief to promote Storm, Rouge, Jean and Jubilee.
- Disney introduces a previously unknown LGBTQ member to lead the team. (Or more focus on the "new" Iceman)
- Being more about pushing "THE MESSAGE" than about continuing to tell a great story.
They forget, this is the same studio that gave us these "wonderful" tales over the past few ye

I guess LGBT representation?! Kind of defeats the purpose of liking XMen, which was about unreasonable bigotry from people that didn't accept mutants.Uh huh. What's "the message."
WRONG.Take your statement and replace women/girls and replace it with Black people and it's the EXACT SAME thing racists are saying. Forcing Black Panther down their throats and making Heimdall Black. Hell, they even made a whole pro-black Falcon series. "They should just leave all that Black shit out of the movies" - or does that just count for women?
Stop forcing string Black characters on everyone right?
The 90's xmen already had alot of of strong female leads and story lines. The Shiar story line, Rogue, and the phoenix saga, those were some of the best styory lines in the series. This guy gets it.

What exactly are you complaining about? That Storm might have too much power? Or Jean Grae? Hell looking at the trailer it seems everyone including Wolverine is taking a back seat to Cyclops and rightfully so.This guy gets it.

Yeah I’m confused X Men has always had strong female leadsThe 90's xmen already had alot of of strong female leads and story lines. The Shiar story line, Rogue, and the phoenix saga, those were some of the best styory lines in the series.
There are 100 if not 1000 times more casual fans than comic fans that watch these movies. So, yes they are going to cater to them. Just like people that hated the Lord of the Rings movies because they weren't exactly like the books "WHERE THE FUCK IS TOM BOMBADIL??? I'm afraid you're just going to have to deal or not watch the movies if it bothers you so much. And you even proved that Marvel itself did what you accuse Disney of doing - "pandering" as you call it, for inclusivity. Why have a Black Captain America? Or a Afro Latino Spiderman? Or GASP Thor is a woman????WRONG.
As I said, they already have strong women and strong black characters. The race swap shit is just to piss comic fans off. Nobody dislikes Storm as a character except the lame ass writers who won't seem to showcase her as she is seen in the comics. Every X-Men fan knows that Jean is super-powerful and Wanda had a whole saga in the comics that they somehow figured a way to fuck up in the MCU. Falcon becomes Captain America in the comics. Some people bitched about it but that is to be expected. People don't like change. It wasn't anything they didn't see coming; they just bitched to bitch.
It IS actually annoying as hell when they force stories for the sake of inclusion and fuck up familiar characters. Johnny and Sue Storm are brother and sister but they hired MB Jordan as Johnny and made Sue a latina? Then made her adopted just to force "diversity" when they could just as easily just highlight some of the many characters that they already have. They don't want to show Blue Marvel, one of their most powerful heroes. Doctor Voodoo is more powerful than Stephen Strange but you never hear about him.
Blade unofficially kicked off the MCU. There would be no MCU without the success of Blade. To this day, Miles Morales's Spider-man is a fan favorite. He didn't replace Peter Parker but his story is just as compelling.
What Disney does is pander; and yes, pandering is a problem. Its actually insulting and women should be offended by Disney. Many of the female comic fans actually are. Its the casual fans who see this bullshit as empowering. Its just feeding a lie to gain compliance. They could have great movies if they'd just follow what's already written for these characters. They fucked up House of M. They gender swapped Captain Marvel and then doubled down and gender swapped and then de-powered Mar-vell because they didn't want to have a woman getting her powers from a man.
They do all of this not because they don't have stories and can't write characters but because they have an agenda. Disney is evil as fuck.
Morph is now a non-binary character and has a "buddy buddy" () relationship with Wolverine.
But one thing I have never EVER heard any of the people with your viewpoint complain about. Marvel heroes are overwhelmingly white and male, and I've never heard any of you complain about the fact that they are so white centric.
It just annoys you when they aren't.
Folks been indoctrinated without even knowing it.
And this here is da truth.
So they was doing that non binary shit back in '97. C'mon man! I knew diznee would fuck this up somehow. I wouldn't care if it just affected morph but they had to ruin wolverine with it too.![]()

I'm black, so YES, I complained a lot. People with "my viewpoint" are what got characters of color greenlit in the first place. Representation is a low bar to set. There are 100 if not 1000 times more casual fans than comic fans that watch these movies. So, yes they are going to cater to them. The problem with the MCU is that the writing and narratives suck - in the "pandering" content and the non pandering, good ol white male hero content so many Black men long so much for.
But you have every right to not like and not watch the content. But if you're waiting for the MCU to go back to being only white males, it's probably not going to happen.
I'm black, so YES, I complained a lot. People with "my viewpoint" are what got characters of color greenlit in the first place. Representation is a low bar to set.
Just showing up and being black is not enough.
Its insulting to a reader to Mary Sue a character.
Most comic readers don't hate a character for their race or sex. They hate a character with no struggle. This is exactly why the last Star Wars movies failed miserably.
Disney's formula is come up with a female, make her pretty, make her sad about something. Fix the sadness. The end. This does not work for comic book readers and comic book readers are who support (buy merch) from these movies. Casual moviegoers don't by posters, action figures, t-shirts and hats, etc. Disney has just been selling to primarily women and girls for so long that they didn't expect pushback when they tried to use the same formula on things that are primarily male.
The comics will always be there but even Disney is starting to learn what failure looks like.
Madame Web is done and its not even out yet.
The Marvels crashed and burned.
She-Hulk flopped.
Black Widow was 10 years too late but could have been a success. Why? Natasha Romanoff struggled. Still, Disney learned nothing. The writers at Marvel have already written great characters of all colors, both male and female. The problem is Disney and their leadership. They could care less about the stories. That's the problem.
Barbie was a huge success for Disney because it probably saved their asses in merch sales. The worst thing to happen to Marvel was Disney's acquisition of it.
Disney is good at selling to females. Insert girl. Make her unassumingly pretty. Make her smart and/or strong. Make her sing. She outsmarts/defeats her enemies. She wins the day. Happily ever after, blah. blah, blah.
That shit doesn't fly with comic book fans.
Keep in mind all those projects flopped not because they movies were female lead but because they were just bad period.I'm black, so YES, I complained a lot. People with "my viewpoint" are what got characters of color greenlit in the first place. Representation is a low bar to set.

It makes sense for Morph to be non-binary. Morph is a shapeshifter.Morph is now a non-binary character and has a "buddy buddy" () relationship with Wolverine.
