That would be bad IMHO...the Doom character deserves his own "saga"...he's probably my 2nd favorite comic villain after Joker with a ton of meat on the bone for the franchise...IF they cast him right and do a proper job of building him up.

They can still roll with Kang IMHO if they can get someone good as a recast. There's still so much out there for Kang, I think just punting on the character instead of trying to save it would be a mistake. Start seeing who wants the role...maybe Boyega or Idris or someone else can come in and do a bang up job. Wouldn't give up on it.

True, Doom is definitely coming...I just don't want them to rush/pivot from Kang and rush this shit. Doom is too good of a villain to treat like that. He's really the crown jewel of their Avengers level supervillains...way more than Thanos. Only Marvel villain on his level IMHO is Magneto. I'm just really hoping they don't fuck this up or I'm really done with Feige's MCU after such an amazing first 3 "phases".

I been gave up on the MCU. I hate to see what they do with Spiderman freshman year. I'll just stick with 90s animated shows if I want marvel entertainment. Meanwhile the future is looking pretty bright over at the DCU. While the mouse is steady pandering James gunn seems to know what comic book heads and movie goers wants

No they aren't movies dude. Watching it as a movie would make me wretch cause I would notice all the filler.
Binge watching makes me wonder if people actually understand what they are watching.
Cause the average nigga I know will get out of a movie, I ask him about it and the nigga can't tell me shit about it.

I can't speak for the masses but I prefer the old Netflix/Marvel binge model for these shows.

I didn't care to much for Ashoka first time around but in an binge rewatch (after watching the last season of Rebels) made Ashoka feel like an natural successor and basically live action Rebels season 5.

I also avoided Loki s2 until it was over and binged it. Much better experience.

This 'shows' aren't really tv shows. They're 4-5 hrs movies unnecessarily cut into 6-8 episodes.

The only reason they cut the stories I to multiple episodes is to justify their monthly streaming rates. Breaking it up into pieces doesn't really serve the story in anyway. The stories play out better when you take it all in over a shorter period.

At least for me anyway

I know those people too. They'll watch movies with their face constantly turning to look at their phone or talk to someone. Then the movies ends and they can't recall simply plot details.

There isn't much you can do for them.

I will say that when binging certain shows I don't notice the filler as much as I notice what I call the, 'Jack Bauer trifecta'.

Across 3 weeks of 24 you might not ever call out the consecutive bullshit. But when you binge 3 eps across 2 hrs you start noticing that he got ran over, defused a nuke, got stabbed, save the President's daughter, killed 23 terrorists, got shot, and still hasn't stopped to get something to eat or even take a shit.

Just once I wanted to see 24 come back from commercial and we see Jack coming outta the bathroom. Like oh, he took a shit during those 5 minutes
