Ben Affleck is rumored to join the MCU as one of Thor's greatest and most underrated villains, perfect for multiple movies.www.giantfreakinrobot.com
Dario Agger is a Greek entrepreneur, industrialist, media proprietor, and investor. He is best known as the CEO, and president of the multi-national energy company Roxxon Energy. He secretly sold his soul[3] to be a literal Minotaur.[5] He is also a lead member of the Dark Council who planned to conquer the Ten Realms of Asgard.[8]
Wait what...?Actually Gotham is supposed to be Newark or Chicago. Metropolis is NYC.
Wait what...?
I always thought Gotham was NYC and Metropolis was Chicago.

You jumped on the the Thor aspect but I doubt this character is used that way...They already had third best villian on screen and completely ruined him while butchering Thor in the first place. I'm really skeptical about Thor 5.
That wasn't gor r the god butcher that was gor the kidnapper.
Not that this is a bold prediction given the Phase 4 fail, but calling it now regardless. This year will likely be a trainwreck for Marvel.Everything relies on Guardians as far as movies.
With streaming, if they make Xmen 97 for the 'modern audience' there goes that sure thing and more yelling at the fans.
I don't think we ever seen folks fuck up a money tree like this. Something will have to give soon. I know the disney parks are making money, but they can't keep floating this shit. Disney is literally killing IPs. Golden fucking gooses. Jesus.![]()

Say man, it feels like I'm cheating though. Like this ain't much of a call. If I'm wrong, no problem admiting it.I'll be here.
If you wrong?
a "my bad" ain't gonna suffice though.

What are your predictions for them in 2023?
You realize I am talking objective metrics, right? That's how I am judging success and fail. For movies, it is production budget and marketing budget THEN profits. So we can easily see if a movie is a fail or performs poorly compared to what they thought it would do. Hell, even James Cameron was honest about that with Avatar, so it ain't hard. You are so certain it's gonna fail.
The funny part is if it succeeds, who decides that?
If it's not a billion box office per movie?
Is it a flop?
If it isn't 99% certified fresh?
Is it a flop?
If there is ANYONE OR ANYTHING remotely gay?
It's a colossal failure?
So I predict regardless of the actual quality of the project...
There will be co opted incel talk and insane conspiracy theories and insincere criticism.
I also predict I will see it all enjoy it. Regardless, If it's ok, if it's fantastic... accept it for what it is. And speak honestly with those who are coming to the table in good faith.
Also put dudes on ignore who get on my nerves with bullsh*t hot takes.

With streaming, fuck the 'review bombing' narrative. Fuck the one line bot positive reviews. Fuck the one line negative reviews. Fuck'em all. We can see if something is a success by combining the reviews with the actual data of viewership falling off. Shit is easy. Hell, same applies with a box office if we are being honest. How the fuck anything have a 99 FAN RATING on RT like Top Gun 2 and don't come close to Top Gun numbers(not even same universe)? That's the positive review bombing the MSM is quiet about.
I'm not into the 'stick to incel' business model. I want to go by objective data of material that is subjective(fans decide if they SPEND to see it and then again decide if they feel the money was well spent).
So I will lay out the metrics right here right now on Jan 2.
1. We don't look at total box office haul. Shit is propaganda without the other info. We look at the production budget, marketing budget, AND total box office. We realize Marvel ain't trying to make $30 million or something off a $400 million total budget. They damn sure ain't trying to break even or lose money.
2. With streaming, we look at the analytics(and how much they dumped into the project). Yeah, I know all the streamers try to hide the info, but folks track and do it well. That's why Amazon couldn't hide the Rings of Power fail even with deleting reviews and paying for article after article.
How you and I FEEL about something does not matter at all. Don't care if you love it. Don't care if I love it.
We will look at the data. That is what I am judging success and fail on. And that and only that is how I will take credit for being right or eat crow for being wrong.
We will find out soon enough. Time flies. Shit, Antman might do enough for you to start laughing at me.![]()
