I'm starting to look at Marvel like Kevin Smith looked at Jon Peters when he wanted a no cape having, no flying Superman with a gay Lex Luthor and Spiders.

where are you getting this, with Quantumania, Kang Dynasty, Secret Invasion, etc coming? What specifically is making you look at it this way?
He's 54 as of today. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!!!) If Keanu Reeves can be John Wick at 58 (53 or 54 when the last one was filmed) Dave will be ok.
I'm looking at Guardians of the Galaxy. Adam Warlock and High Evolutionary. As far as Kang goes I don't recall his presence being as major as Thanos. In the first Secret Wars I believe Doctor Doom killed him. As I've said earlier Adam Warlock and Starfox were enemies of Thanos. Thanos is dead so what are they doing? And why is the High Evolutionary coming off as Chris Tucker from Fifth Element all we need is a blonde hairdo and leopard print costume.
Also actors don't do most off the physical stuff they have stuntman he'll be all right especially if 71 year old Michael Keaton is playing Batman again
Aiight.....seems like we have the same concerns. Im not the biggest James Gunn fan and Im a little worried about how GOTG3 is gonna come out. Im getting the same vibe/concerns as I did for Thor Love and Bullshit
High Evolutionary dude needs to knock it out the park for real. He looked mad corny/cringe in the outfit at Comicon. Im not that much of a James Gunn fan, I just tolerate him. Thought SS and Peacemaker were below average and ghey

When you say multiple forms do you mean Rama Tut, Scarlet Centurion, Immortus, Iron Lad or just different versions Kang?

In the comic, Drax was a major enemy of Thanos but that obviously wasn't the case in the movies where he was mostly the enemy of Ronan.
The comics aren't biblical canon. The films don't have to be faithful to them.
So can someone more hip about what the MCU is up to explain what they're likely to do with High Evolutionary -- is he destined to become a major villain like Thanos or a more minor antagonist like Loki originally was?

Yeah, Bane makes the most sense, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him as Darkseid. Hardy is clearly the better actor, but Dave will have a more imposing look obviously, probably too imposing to Robert. If he's given the choice, he should go with Darkseid.
