Japan has 121 million people. The US has 330 million people.
19,000 people die in the US to gun homicides. Japan has 10.
So the US has 3x the people and 1900x times the gun homicides.
The talking points the NRA and the right wing feed you are just as wrong as Trump won the election.
Problem is in the numbers. In 2020, 42 percent of gun homicides were black males. Think about the math behind that to make just black males 42 percent of ALL gun homicides. Who is going to care about that other than us? This shit goes on every fucking day. Most the white people coming out for gun control now are worried about other shit before and after the mass shooting news dies off. We know republicans/right ain't going to worry either way.
Up here, they had a school walk out in Bay village(all white area) over gun violence. Why now? Because like I say it's someone else story to them. No protests out here when a black teen got blazed up right after the bell.
In Japan, the Yakuza supposedly won't use guns because of the penalties. In the U.S., we all know the penalties ain't shit. You can get arrested on a gun charge while having a gun charge and still get a low bail. Get a gun charge while on papers. Nothing really happens. Have a gun on disability. Nothing.
Gun laws are a joke. And that's coming from both the ground up(illegal) to the top down(legal). But looking at who gun homicides affect the most we can see why the laws are the way they are and won't change.
Now if the elite start coming under fire, watch how fast shit changes. Or if white people on a day-to-day basis are ducking bullets like the prohibition era, gun control would happen so fast it people wouldn't believe it. Until then, nothing really changes.

I honestly, GOD FORBID, feel the only way a lotta Black people, these gang gang niggas and churchgoers alike, are going to consider strappin up and preparing for attacks from white supremacists is when one of these cacs goes and shoots up a Black elementary school. Then gun sales will go through the roof on both sides, jews will probably be somewhere profiting off of all of it, and we'll be on the brink of an all out race war. And I suspect the ws are inching towards that. The KKK distributed flyers in one of ATL's roughest Black neighborhoods last month.
Big heaping amounts of death help the government to move forward.
