It should be 21. Had to wait until 21 in Ohio of all places before I could legally buy a handgun. Assumed it would be the same for the heavier shit. And ain't like these weirdos have plugs for guns other than gun stores.
Why not have a process like concealed carry is to get AKs, ARs, etc? Still can buy shotguns, etc the regular way.
The only way any real change to gun laws would be for something of this magnitude to happen near the elections (not advocating). It's hard for people to be outraged for so long. And politicians have no incentives to make change unless people are fervently voicing their displeasure as a massive group. Otherwise, things always go back to business as usual.
I truly hope I am wrong. But it feels like we live in a microwave society & ingest information rapidly. What's angering us today may not have the same fire one month from now. We need to stay this driven in November. Vote out the nra puppets. Then the Democrats have to take action. No waiting, no working with the other side, no thinking of future elections. Just move your ass while you have the ability. That's how real change will save the future generations.

The thing about this is how many other mofos are out there doing the same thing. Folks in the community are reporting it and the authorities are just ignoring it and not taking it seriously.
And then you have the family not paying attention and going about their business. They found the grandfather, aunt and father and all three claimed to be clueless on the shooters mental health.
You don’t just wake up in the morning, eat a bowl of Frosted Flakes and go on a rampage. It takes years to get to that point.
That’s the bigger issue more than these nutjobs having access to firearms.
