Off the Wall is still the better album although Thriller sold more albums.
I'm watching the Thriller documentary a few thoughts I have is why is Mary J. Blige in this and she needs to take that blonde weave out, she looks a hot mess. Kendu really did a number on her. I forgot that the dude from New York Undercover was in Beat It and the Asian chic with the long hair from Soul Train was also in it.
She's the new Elvis; her whiteness is supposed to make her greater than any non-white person. With White Supremacy, irrationality is baked into the sauce.
MJ is still the gold standard they are always comparing him every couple of weeks lol.
Then we get those streaming records compared to copies sold comparisons.
Sony Japan recently verified that Thriller has sold 70 million copies worldwide,30 million is US and 40 million outside US. to put that in perspective #2 is close battle between Dark Side of the Moon/Pink Floyd,Back In Black/ACDC,Eagles Greatest hits/Eagles and the Bodyguard Soundtrack/Whitney Houston all between 38-45 million sold. No one will ever touch Thriller!
