I just learned the REAL reason why MJ purchased the rights to Elvis' catalog. They said that he bought them so that the black artists that got ripped off by Elvis could finally get paid. If this is true, that is the coolest shit in the world.

Not true.
MJ never owned Elvis's publishing catalogue. Sony/ATV bought the catalogue of some of the writers (white) who wrote some of Elvis's early songs, as well as the catalogue of Little Richard (to whom MJ promised some money which he never delivered).
Presley didn't "rip" anyone off. If anything, he got some obscure black songwriters the royalties and attention they deserved.
