Giving a 5 minute comment on the Passing of Michael Jackson is defined as "Praised Him Too Much"...

People are really upset about this...

Basically you need to go look up the world "politics" and "diplomacy" and never again speak on the topic before and after you read up. It is what it is.

You're either dumb cause you think the President of the United State should play into media and opposition fuckery by giving a 10 minute monologue on an accused child molester during this media frenzy.

or

You're playing dumb because you wanted to make another Michael Jackson BGOL thread and add on to the other 100+ that are now on the first 5 pages.

Pick an option, you appear dumb on both fronts though. The man swatted a fly and it made national news for pete sake. No e-beef.

Dude I get your sentiments but we're talking a white man who was a star in his own right long BEFORE ever becoming president in white America dealing with an untarnished black megastar M.J.

M.J. in spite of all his talents, contributions to society and gifts dealt with charges of pedophilia twice with white children in white America.

Could O say more ? Sure he could, and if it were Stevie or Aretha passing I believe he would. O's time is limited before he gets the M.J.,O.J.,Vick,Snipes treatment himself if he doesn't produce as POTUS. The less controversy to provide a target on his back the greater his chances to succeed. Who knows he still may say something publicly but rest assured it will be measured. Hell he just barely getting by with light press for firing that ole white inspector general for fucking with K.J. out in Cali.

:hmm: Neither of the kids/family that accused him of molestation were even white. :smh: The first family was Black Asian and Jewish and the other were Hispanic.

Cosign, Ming you're just being irrational, you're acting like that from jump starting this thread. Us rational folks figured the president would say something in time, but you're foolish self got all heated because he didn't do it right away.

So he has to drop all issues on his plate when someone famous dies, get over yourself. I know you're not of the same ilk as ChitownHeadBusta, SheBetterHaveA50InchAss, Snark9, EntroproNegro. From what they say, McCain would only be the fine with them as President.

Now that I think about it Bill Clinton didn't make a single statement about Tupac and Biggie getting Murdered back in 1996-97.

But anyway the so-called Obama Supporters that are telling people on here that Obama had other issues to take care of is Fucking Bull Shit and it is only being said out of True Blood Hatred towards Michael Jackson because if it was some famous white rock singer that passes on, the same Michael Jackson Hating Punk Bitches will be raising Hell because Obama wouldn't acknowledge their passing in a timely matter.

You do know Reagan wasn't fond of black folks right. He was against the civil right movement, he was talking mad shit during the Watts Riot. He had to be dragged kicking in screaming into making Dr. King's birthday a national holiday.

So don't come around hear making such a dumb fucking statement in support for Reagan. Change your avatar this is BGOL, not the O'reilly message board.

Why the petty and irrelevant comparison?

Michael and Obama are 2 different people and it's an established fact that MJ inspired thousands if not millions in the black community and entertainment industry in general.

Must black people tarnish their own and negate their history, contribution and achievements?

Now, do you really wanna sweep his unrivaled achievements under the rug?

You're not going to find a more solid Obama supporter than me. But the man is not infallible. I felt he should have sent a personal letter of condolence... And he clearly agreed. There it is. Case closed as far as I'm concerned. Again, it's not like Obama didn't validate the complaint by writing the letter. It's hard to argue the letter request was unreasonable and/or unnecessary when the man himself concedes.
