I know. Someone just said Jurnee Smollett and my mind just went a whirring at the delicious possibility. But you are right. When I see her, I don't see a woman that is 1/8 black and passing as white, something that I know is a reality for Hailee Steinfeld. That was actually brilliant by Ryan Coogler, as if the role was written specifically with her in mind

That makes sense. Like you, I've watched so many videos of this press tour and things of the like that anything is buried in my YouTube box.

Did he have a tremor throughout the movie that I just happened to miss? I saw it when he tried to roll the cigarette at the end, but was it something that was in his character throughout the movie that I didn't see? If so then I have to watch it again and look for it

It seems people are not comprehending that dude was having flashbacks and reviewing the whole situation, first the fact he lost his wife, his bro is now a creature of the night, his bro basically forcing him to kill his wife, the fact the klan was plotting to kill everybody even if vampires never showed up, the fact vampires showed up and killed a bunch of people he knew, feeling guilty having dozens of people die cause of his gathering, the realization of America that no matter what you do the white man will always be there to destroy it, the fact he sacrificed 7 yrs of his life in Chicago and yrs prior in ww1 to still be treated like a nig and basically have his plan destroyed.. last but not least he snatched off his goodluck chain made by his wife as to say he was about to accept death, that pretty much would have most men trembling, he was going on a suicide mission with uncertainties of the afterlife.

Is that maybe why he told her to keep her voice down? He understood this but she, in typical woman form was being reckless in order to get a rise out of him. It's like the woman who pokes a bear to get a reaction from the Man while the crowd is watching. She wants him to react because she hasn't gotten the level of energy she believes she deserves from him

So what, she's white. She's playing a white person in every role. She's only one eighth black but she's more than light enough to pass. So what? You think her character being 1/8 black and her being 1/8 black was an accident? That was some super intentional shit that Ryan Coogler did

I didn't notice any tremor before that last scene, but I've only seen it once...so far. So at the time, I just assumed he was shaking because of all the shit that had happened. As talkbacknyc stated he IS shaking because of that, but it turns out his PTSD isn't just from the war of the previous night.

Cool, I was checking the AMC Lincoln Square 13 theater's seating chart around 6, 7:00 AM, and it indicated that every show was "Almost Full."

What I found interesting about this was that the earliest show was at 10:00 AM, and it indicated that it was "Almost Full."

The AMC Lincoln Square 13 is the largest IMAX theater in the United States and seats around 480 people.

The theater is located in Manhattan.

It's bad enough that LGBT came in and swooped off of the civil rights that black people fought for to get rights for themselves independent off of what black people have gotten in a way that they can't be criticized without that person who criticizes them being called anti-LGBT.

Black people fought for civil rights for all, not just us. Now anytime we do something other races or cultures or alphabets say what about us. What about y'all? My opinion from Sinners : he had a job for 10 years barely getting paid but always booked. And felt pretty sure that he’d get another 10 years. Got offered $20, turned it down didn’t bc of the possibility of not having longevity.. but he accepted $40. Quit his gig to play at the Juke. Same night...
