Sad. People of color fighting hard for the message to be that its ok to work for other people. Dont start a business says people of color on the radio. Smh.we lost.

It wasn't just folks at the radio, Dame pissed off millions in that interview. People I never knew had heard of the Breakfast Club or Dame was grumbling about having a boss for that whole next week at my school.

Its a slave mindset being passed down. Fortunately as Dame and Tariq say the younger generation gets it. The older generation threw in the towel and bent over for whitey. They went for self which made the whole community exploitable. One day black folks will get their food, energy, cars, clothes from black owned businesses. And we'll all be better for it. Just look at CACs, they practice white group economics amongst themselves. The shit works, we just gotta let that slave shit and that i only care about me ego shit go.

They are slaves, they feel they have no control over their situation and it shows. Their only hope is maybe Dame Dash will go to jail or be broke so what he said wasnt true. Well it is true, mofos love massa and the goods and services he sells them.

This King Taharqa dude must be Dame himself or at the very least related to Dame. It's one thing to support your "man" but King Taharqa does go a bit overboard with the paragraphs and over explanation of what we already know. Do you have "cookies"?

How some of you listen to some dude who plays out family business in public, is beyond me.

But some of you seem to need guidance in life.

It's why Dr Oz and Dr Phil exist, I guess

Yep. It seems as if people have no reason to discuss business, entrepreneurship or anything relevant to the come up. Its him playing out his family situation that seems to distract these cats. Most of us have to try and focus on the biz gems, economic empowerment gems he drops. Thats what i use my filter for.

Its always the same lames dissing Tariq, Boyce, Umar, Dame. And if you defend them they get mad. Then they turn around and sing some CACs praises in other threads. Mofos dont like it when you have a love for your people. Dame's child support is more than most of the butthurt folks net in a year, his kids living better, why should we listen to them? Especially when they provide 0 alternative to what he's saying.

Do you buy entirely black? Be honest. Also you never really answered my question. If everyone is supposed to be a boss then who are supposed to be the employees? Explain to me how my business of 50 people working can operate if they all quite and become bosses? I'll wait.

I buy black every chance I get. Bank wit a black credit union. Shop at a black bookstore. Get my haircut at a black owned shop. Bought my car from a black man. If a black energy company was in NC Id drop Duke Energy in a heartbeat and fuck wit them.

You never attempted to answer the question I posed to you. How does our community come up by working exclusively for whites? Because you are not the norm, most blacks dont have a black boss.

If everyone leaves your company to become a boss of their own what does that say bout ur company? You want your workers to always be subservient to you and your business? Fuck their dreams and aspirations? White businesses have turnover and lose employees all the time, if you cant withstand maybe you in the wrong business. I live in Charlotte, banking capital. All of these bank CEOs pick some young CAC early and put em on the fast track to become CEO. They groom a successor. God forbid something happened to you your biz would fall apart the next day because you dont wanna share information. Do you see your employees as your slaves cuz it sure sounds like it.

Dame shared information with Jay, Kanye, and Cam and each every one of em own businesses now. Versus the Baby model, let me keep employees dumbed down so they wont leave me or become my comp.

These dudes would be able to sell their message a lot easier if they would learn to be realistic with their analogies.

If a black energy company was in NC theyd get my dollars. Unfortunately yall will tell a black kid dont start one, work for white people, its better. The irony is yall hollaring this love for CAC businesses on an independent black owned porn board. FOH.

Sure we are hollering love for CAC businesses.....as we type on our CAC owned computer/tablet/smartphone over the CAC owned ISP. Just be realistic bro....you have great advice to offer...but...it can be smeared by your sometimes foolish and ridiculous analogies.

You still never answered Drayonis question. You keep side stepping it. But I will answer the question for you.

If everyone became a boss and created their own business, that would lead to everyone being broke. The reason being is that you would never have anyone to work for you.

Drayonis is a business owner. He would not be able to make a living or support himself or family without his employees. Without his employees Drayonis would have to do all the work himself which would negatively impact his production. Production equals money. Plus he would not have time to create ways to grow his business. The first thing your learn when running a business is that you can't wear all the hats.

What ever money he would make he could never enjoy the fruits of his labor because he would always be at work running himself into the ground and early grave. Is that the kind of lifestyle you would want?

See Drayonis cared more about generating wealth than being a boss or owning a business and that is what made him successful all these years. At the end of the day Dray wanted to use his talent and make a living doing what he loves. Being a business owner for him was simple the right choice. King you and Dame care more about being a boss and having power over someone along with a "title" than generating wealth which always leads to failure.

Because at the end of the day being wealthy is the ultimate goal. As long as the work is good honest work it does not matter how someone obtained their wealth.

Everything you described could be made and owned by a black person. Why not encourage that? No, its easier to be self defeatist. Group economics is about circulating black dollars whenever possible, if theres no black business to patronize you obviously cant do that. Whites will eat at a chinese restaurant, but the make sure the bulk of their money stays in their community. Thats all thats bein suggested. Instead of shit talking and downing other black men who are successful, how bout we pose solutions? I havent seen u do that in this thread "chief".

My business is art related. You honestly think I can train over 50 to produce the products we sell in one day if everybody quits? 50 people specialized and heavily trained just like that?

I own art concessions by the way and I'm contracted in themed parks and locations throughout Houston and Austin, Tx. You keep rambling on like you know a lot about business and how it should work but I can tell you have no clue. Not ever business is the same. You couldn't run my business even if you tried.

This dude gets it. I'm still trying to figure how when everyone quits and becomes a boss how I'm supposed to open all the locations and shops by myself.

And you're right about the last part. When I stopped working locations so much and stepped back and concentrated on pecuring contracts that's when my company took off. We went from grossing 250k a year to pulling over a million in gross sales. By letting the employees do their part, I was able to do mine which is grow my business and reapply my business model to other locations.

You worried bout your one business that employs 50 people. Im worried bout our community of 30 million. Theres a difference. Lets not tell black people to think of ownership so Drays one art business a time zone away from me can thrive. Fuck everybody else. You've already said you want your workers to stay subservient to you, so its really not much to discuss. You dont support group economics and black business is every man for himself. More power to you. Now while the next man DOES decide to.share info and wants to see others thrive as well, step aside and let them do that. You not offering any alternatives except "work for me". You didnt.come out the womb a business owner and Im sure you had help along the way. Its your choice to not do the same, but cut the where will I find workers shit cuz thats bullshit.

Help?

Nigga stop. I bought my way into the business motherfucker. I was in debt for up to 10 years before I started seeing real money. No one came to me and handed me shit other than a contract that i had to buy out. I've helped plenty of people along the way, but I'm not going to convince some young white kid (you assume that most of my people are black) to quit working for me and be a boss.

The kids that work for me that pay their college tuition or buy their first cars is enough. The managers that make really good salaries and take care of their homes and children is enough. I've done more for young black folk than you could ever imagine.

Do you know how fulfilling it is for someone out of work for months and hungry for a paycheck to hear "you're hired"?

What business do you own by the way?

For someone who never had help and came out the womb a business owner you seem pretty worried about losing employees and not being able to survive.

I own a DJ biz. Im flying out to H-Town next week to help my cuz start up a botox business. I dont just do 1 thing. I like multiple hustles and doin different things.

Again its great you givin people jobs but teaching others how to run a biz (it dont even gotta
be art) creates even more opportunities. Dame does film and clothes but he offers advice and info to people pursuing other avenues. So you dont necessarily gotta talk your workers into quitting and goin in biz for themself, you.could help a kid that DONT WORK FOR YOU that might wanna start a cleaning biz, a food truck, whatever. You seem very concerned about your shit and your shit only. Do you. But other businessmen some whove done less than you, some whove done more wanna see the community.come up as a whole. Rugged individualism vs, group economics.

Im sure Damon would say the same to you. He lends people millions, it takes you a year to gross 1. His business and working capital is alot bigger than yours. Why should we listen to you over him? Wheres your motion picture? Who's your Kanye? Like I said you not about empowerment or group economics.
