I actually felt like I failed through something like this when I was Navy. I got on here thinking it was a damn hurricane and @4 Dimensional told me it was a weak ass tropical storm on October 4th 1996

On my ship, we were literally walking on the walls. One guy got thrown out of his top bunk into the middle rack across from him. Thankfully he didn't get hurt. And that was just a goddamn tropical storm. I can't imagine sailing through a fucking hurricane

Definitely Shawshank Redemption. I went to the 25th anniversary showing of Shawshank Redemption near the Mansfield prison where the movie was filmed. The director Frank Darabont and Several members of the cast came out, Warden Norton, Tommy, Boggs, Alfonso Freeman (Morgan Freeman's son. He was the one who said "We're reeling em in" in the beginning and he was Morgan Freeman's prison photos) and Andy's wife & the Golf Pro.

Shit, dam near any 70s movies along the same theme... I loved watching movies like these as a youning, they groomed me to be masculine and an alpha male in my adulthood. Notice you rarely see movies now where the black man plays a masculine role like these films in the past.

Right there witcha fam. It's the most incredible shit I have ever seen. Watched it with my girl in December and loved it. But, you can't fully appreciate it the first time. Planned to watch it again. The second time was early last week. I done lost count as to how many times I've seen it now. It's only paused right now because I came down to take a phone call. I'm usually not impressed by songwriters who are younger than me. But this dude, Lin Manuel Miranda, might just be the greatest songwriter to ever touch the planet. Either naturally... or he took a trip to the crossroads somewhere. Most rappers can't stay on subject for an entire verse let alone a whole song. This dude it for a whole damn musical - and it was all historical, factual shit. This joint definitely my favorite right na.

For me its Forbidden Planet as far as Sci-Fi goes. This movie was considered one of the greatest Sci-Fi movies of all time. It held that title for decades.

The creator of Babylon 5 was going to remake this movie until hackers stole his script. So were stuck with the original version from 1956. But this movie IMO would still hold up today. The story is that strong.

Just imagine hating someone or something and having the power to create your own Id (monster) to kill what you don't like or have problems with.

Don't think that thought is not terrifying? Think about who you would like to see disappear forever. Now imagine having the ability to execute that thought. Now inagine an entire planet of people with the same power. The powers of the subconscious mind unleashed.
