Kyrie Irving has left his longtime agent and is expected to join ROC Nation Sports, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Kyrie Irving has left his longtime agent and is expected to join ROC Nation Sports, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
That's the agency founded in 2013 by Jay-Z, who then gave up his partial ownership of the Nets to comply with NBA rules. Irving has declined his player option to become an unrestricted free agent, of course, and Woj recently reported that Kyrie is "absolutely serious" about signing with Brooklyn. Whether or not that comes to fruition, a new contract with Boston feels less and less likely.

For some reason I feel AD is somewhat overhyped.

Watching Leonard this playoff make me wonder could AD do the same with this same Raptors squad.

I’m not denying his talent. But he’s been injury prone and hasn’t gotten anywhere in the playoffs.

I don’t know. AD seems to be getting a lot of attention and looks like he’ll end up in the same situtation he was in coming out of NO.

AD is a beast...

I know everyone says it doesn't MATTER anymore where you play in the NBA...

but I do NOT believe that fully.

If AD was in LA, NY or even Philly or Boston or Texas he would get more viewership.

And you are 100% right about his injuries.

But I seen that dude play and its just ridiculous.

To do THAT well and not necessarily have the best coach medical staff head office and supporting cast?

I think he is a great ADDITION.

My whole thing was how easily is happened.

My logic tells me if the calf and achilles injuries are not connected as some claim, then Durant was just super unlucky to have two separate injuries on the same leg.

However, I don’t see that as the case. That second injury happen way too easily, which suggest to me that shit was already partially torn and never fully healed. I never believed it was a calf injury. Not for a second and not even after he Warriors organization claimed it was a calf injury.

My thing is this: Either the medical staff is completely incompetent or they let him back in the playoffs rolling on "may pop" tires and didn't give a fuck, or his shit is just thin as fuck and a calf strain put extra pressure on the Achilles and his shit was a ticking timebomb anyway.

Why would you roll him out there to get hurt and risk him saying fuck you 100% and bouncing anyway? There is fault all the way around, but I don't blame the Warriors for this anymore than I blame bitch ass Dyke Man Toni for Beans blown Achilles. I was screaming at the TV to pull him out the game but I thought about it later. Guys on that level who are at the top of the game got that way by being aggressive and sometimes hard-headed and stubborn. Shit truth be told Lebron came back too early this year and clearly wasn't the same player.

First you said you can’t sign a contract of any kind without passing a physical ... now it’s you can’t get a max without it. Man Kevin Durant and Boogie are not nearly on the same tier. KD was best basketball player in the world in his prime. Boogie ain’t that. Durant coming back at 85% of what he was is still far superior to Boogie. He’s getting a max and I can’t wait till it happens so your dumb ass can see this.

Boogie wasn't high on teams list before the achilles

I want to see who the Lakers fill the roster out if they let Ball, BI, Kuz and the 4th pick go.

That leave Bron, AD, Josh Hart, and the incredible Mo Wagner

You realize Iggy has been playing with a calf injury, right?

Dudes need to stop playing doctor

Exactly. So has Klay. Fuck Kawhi isn't 100%

I'm trying to make sense of the theories being thrown out. Like I said, "A man is responsible for his actions." I take risks at my job, lots of brothers do and unless there is gross negligence on behalf of the medical staff or the safety team where I work accidents can and will happen.

I'm just happy that no matter what KD is getting 4-5 more years of at least 38 million a pop no matter where he goes. Most of us aren't that lucky. I know if my foot gets chopped off at the job I might get a settlement and 60% of my salary for a few years.

Now if another medical team reviews his x-rays, MRI's and other image diagnostics and finds an obvious problem Golden state is fucked trying to get player there.

I think it's because AD has a #2 player personality...

He's more Klay than Curry or Draymond...

He's more let my game do the talking type...

Even when he played with Rondo and Boogie they were more vocal leaders than him...

They play a part, but people also need to stop treating KD like some 30 year old child.

People keep talking about pressure...but that shit is coming from fans and writers....and we all know KD is one of the most sensitive players of all time....so he actually listens and acknowledges that shit instead of tuning it out.
I ain't talking about here. In specifically talking about his moms comments. She ain't mention no pressure. She pointing at execs and doctors who said he was clear and wouldn't further injure himself.

I said the day she sent the tweet and broke social media silence that she was pointing in house. They called me a hater tho.

AD basically beat the trailblazers in the playoffs by himself a few years ago when DeMarcus got hurt before their playoff run, sports media dumb people down so much, AD is the truth...

Better be the damn Bulls. We gave weak ass Otto Porter $30 million I’ll take KD today after surgery over Otto in his physical prime.
Man Otto hit the lotto. Mike Conley too. Niggas like Kemba Walker had to take a 4 year 48 million dollar deal because their contracts wasn't up at the right time. Walker about to get paid now but shit Otto making wayyyy too much money.

Klay is such a pompous prick, he can’t lose enough right now.

I understand them at times. The media be asking some dumb ass shit. But when Klay don't make All NBA 3rd team because of these reporters he gonna be looking salty....oh wait that already happened.

With all this Kawaii talk, people forget that LeBron can pass the ball. Him and AD have personalities that should mesh well.

I agree 100%. The man is talented but I don't think he's worth all these parts the Pelicans are demanding in return. He doesn't strike me as that type of player that can carry a team like that. To be fair there are only a few players in the league that can. Those are the ones who truly deserve max salaries. Players like PG, Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry are a slight notch below that & should get a slight notch below max salary accordingly but that's never gonna happen

I’m saying he’s still on the site as in he still does business. Not that he’s still “on”Roc Nation. I’m agreeing with you.

I don't know and that's why people need to stop playing doctor like they knew this would happen or even know what his injury was.
Not playing doctor more like bullshit detective. All the “Kevin could be back in 2 games “ stringing it along was suspect. I said if gs start losing and he don’t play, that Nicca is seriously hurt n they trying to hide that. And all of a sudden an elimination game he’s good to go. Nah, they just got desperate.
