He's clearly trying to box the Pelicans into only dealing with the Lakers. But really its his job to get AD to LA cause thats where he wants to go. I just dont understand why its so public.

the pelicans seem responsible for a lot of the leaks as well...he’s fighting fire w/ fire...unfortunately under these circumstances publicizing it is the best way to get him to LA or NY...these teams/owners HATE giving in to athletes’ demands when it doesn’t suit them and of course the pelicans won’t admit it but they are behind a lot of the fuckery as well...if anything they are the one’s trying to sabotage AD’s plans and the path he wants his career to take

interesting if true...is their a link?

I’ll look for one in the meantime

*edit*

not really a sign of anything to come...dude is the best in the field to the point that he also works w/ both NY teams...worked on durant’s foot in 2015 too...if anything this might explain the rumor behind KD buying a house in NY during the time he initially injured his “calf”...most of his rehab might take place here

Y’all should read Rich new article in SI he explains a lot of things including why AD news went public. Dell Demps broke an unwritten rule. Magic also called Demps and it’s part of the reason Demps for fired.

he goes on to dump all blame on then Pels GM, Dell Demps. Because Paul insists his plan wasn’t to go public. He says that he first informed Demps on Jan. 25 of Davis’s intentions, and Demps responded that he’d confer with Benson and get back to him. (Demps did not respond to multiple requests for comment.) Instead, Paul says, Demps called Davis himself—and never got back to Paul. Meanwhile, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski had contacted him, Paul says, to confirm Davis’s demands.

“It was necessary to go public,” Paul says. “When I told you, ‘Here’s our intentions,’ and you say, ‘Hey, let me talk to ownership,’ and instead of you talking to ownership you call Anthony Davis? That’s called being ignored.” And trying to get between a player and his agent? “That’s a no-no,” Paul says. “Every GM knows that.”

He's doing his job. His client has a preferred destination so its him responsibility to try to get him to LA. If Davis knows in his heart he wouldn't resign in Boston when it looks like Kyrie is bouncing what's the point of him getting traded there? Dude if anything is saving face if they trade him there and Ainge gets fucked over when AD leaves.

Yeah but why broad cast your moves? Let AD know this what the Celtics gonna do.. but what we gonna do is not resign they got us for a year rental...

Let Ainge dumb ass think he resigning you and then bam you bounce to the lakers..

Media tried to paint Paul as unprofessional.

He's a young black agent thats making power moves in a profession overwhelmingly dominated by middle age cacs and jews. Rich Paul and LeBron having "too much control" is why they get hate so hard by many. Its always portrayed that there NBA business affairs are catastrophic or beastly for a reason. LordSinister hoe ass still brings up Wade opting out 5 years ago and blames LeBron "making him" do it. Paul was portrayed as "forcing" the Pelicans to trade AD. Its always some bullshit wit young black men having power and control in the NBA.

Thank you!!!

Look at the people on this board acting as if Paul is doing something improper.

:smh:

That's just bad business-- Women watch basketball and more will watch if you include them. That's 50% of the potential audience, you can't just exclude them.

Rachel Nichols is as good at her job as anyone else in a similar position.

The only trick is to put qualified women out there and not eye candy. Ex-WNBA players need to be more utilized-- Lisa Leslie on TNT is better than many of the male ex-athletes they bring on.

And that’s what I said at the end when I said “the few that do seem to know something are STILL sideline reporters”. I named Molly, Joy Taylor and NFL Sunday Countdown host who are all clearly eye candy

True but what’s the alternative? Lakers ain’t giving up what the Pels really want

Hey he said the Celtics CAN trade for him but he's out after that year....like there is no way the Celtics can maximize the return on trading for AD especially with Kyrie leaving

Too much control? He's doing the Celtics a huge favor by letting them know straight up your wasting your assets trying to get AD and Kyrie want out anyway so you would think you've learned your lesson....doesn't he represents a Celtic?
He reps Markeiff too. I get he’s a agent but I guess it’s really the fact it’s so public. He’s just doing his job.

Tonight’s game is gonna be good. The Warriors are at home and are gonna come out trying to shoot the lights out in the 1st quarter. If they win tonight I see them winning Game 7 too because they have been there so many times before and those Raptors players who haven’t been there will start to feel that pressure

The Raptors have no excuses not to win this series.

Everything, including 7 is in their favor.

Even after the shitty performance in game 5, they still almost won.

The only way I see the Raptors losing this game is if Cousins go for nearly 20.

Speaking of Boogie it's obvious but he did come out and say it:

DeMarcus Cousins acknowledged that his conditioning still isn't quite where it needs to be.
"I don’t [know how the body will feel day to day]," Cousins said. "I don’t know. But I just try to push through. I’m still at the point where I’m trying to train my legs to be at that level 100% of the time. I just haven’t had time to focus on that. It’s hard to condition midseason. It’s hard to get that balance of conditioning, rest, being ready to play. It’s a hard balance. I need the offseason, when that can be the priority." With Kevon Looney (chest) banged up and Kevin Durant (Achilles) out, the Dubs will need all they can get from Boogie.

Toronto needs to completely implode to lose this. Warriors scored damn near 40 more points on 3s and it still took a coaching meltdown for them to lose by 1 (and now the warriors are without Looney and Durant). It's theirs to lose.

The Pelicans are dragging the Lakers down to hell with them if they are to trade AD over there.

Yeah, he knows it. The two games the Dubbs won he had 11 point, 10 Reb and 6 assist (game 2) and 14 points and 11 rebounds (game 5). In games 1, 3, and 4 he had a total of 13 points combined.

Raptors just have to continue to make him a non-factor and take advantage of his poor conditioning.

Yep. I agree.

It will be the most ultimate choke job in NAB finals history. More than Cleveland coming back on the Dubbs in 2016.
