Insane how this dude's career is coming to an end.

I was baffled at the fact he was contributing nothing to anything the entire season.

Is he a HOFer?
Man.......that’s a good question. Stats wise he’s better than a lot of guys in it but based on his peers he hasn’t had the career that they have had.

I’m more disturbed he didn’t get on s team last year. I thought he was retiring. He begging the Knicks for a job now?

I didnt realize how hard that nigga was on Klay Thompsons dick last year. He got like 20 posts crying bout the Lakers going after Klay or not being able to get him.

The nigga that spent a decade saying Bron shouldnt be mentioned with Jordan and Kobe easily mentions Steph with Wilt. :smh:

LordSinister was cupcaking and spreading likes to Gay_Carver all last season. He swore LeBron came to LA to retire and no one wanted to play with him. He shitted on Magic all year but been mum on Pelinka since seasons end. This summer and season he gon act like he always believed. :roflmao2:
Laughing stock for half a decade and hes most vocal when the only bright spot in 10years comes to town. :smh:

Mello hasn't has much winning success in the league. He's got some personal accomplishments, but I'm not sure how much weight that's going to hold.

Begging the Knicks for a job? :smh:

I can't believe it...

6 years and counting with no playoffs.

Garbage franchise.

Best thing that happened to that shit franchise since Magic being drafted and he shits on “lebronze” and “klutz” sports
"Klutz" saved a fucking sinking ship.. delivered "Bronze" and now AD.. All Rob Pelinka had to do was post date the check and he even fucked that up.. No slander from LordSinister toward Rob and Jeanie tho. All directed at the young black fellas.

Iggy said quote: “So I’m fighting with the team, I’m fighting with people, I’m fighting with the media and my teammates ask me every day how I’m feeling."

So who is this team he is fighting with?

Its not his teammates cause he clearly seperated them.

Who did Iggy fight with?
I rewatched that part and you're right.

He said he was fighting with the team about playing.

I also stand on this simple question. Did he play?

Again professional athletes are pressured to play. That's fact and happens on evety team. And in every league. I have no issue with that because the decision has always fallen on the player. That's where the power is.

Then warriors did not force Iggy (last year) Klay, kd, Kevon, Damien Jones or any of their players to play.

The warriors did not mislead their players about their injuries. I would. Have a problem with that.

Iggy himself. Said that he didn't feel the injury to KD had to. Do. With his. Calf and would have happened anyway.

Funny how we ignore what he says when convenient.

I don't believe the Warriors best interest is to intentionally put their players in harms way. But I also understand pushing player to play through pain and illness.

End of the day the power lies with the player.

Really does not mean anything. He was opting out regardless. To get the max he had to opt out. Would make little since to except 31 million when he could simply opt out and get 42 million
Yeah but there’s the opting out part and secret meetings in New York. That’s not the behavior of someone opting out just for the increase in pay.

Curry cant even establish his own legacy or get more western conference all star votes than Bron but he somehow saved MJs legacy from him? MJ will never been seen as an unquestioned GOAT again. After that '16 chokejob yall elevated Bron above him just like youre elevating Kawhi above KD and Lowry above Curry right now. MJs legacy takes more hits today and most people understand today he has the shallowest most basketball dumb fanbase that will say anything to keep him propped up for the sake of a FASHION BRAND. Steph and the Dubs failed him. :smh:
Solve for 3-6

He was always in NY and will have meetings with other teams. He is a free agent and was always going to meet with teams. I would not put much stock into him meeting with teams and opting out. Those were always going to happen

I do NOT UNDERSTAND what in the hell happened to his career?

Could we REALLY blame Phil Jackson for all this?

I think Melo IS a HOF'er

we gotta include that college championship run.

Exactly. He opted out last year and immediately told the Warriors he intended to re-sign. Didn’t do that this year. He’s not even in Cali

He was only in college for a year though. It depends what the voters do. For a star his career has been underwhelming and it is looking to be ending prematurely.

He opted out last year and didn’t take one meeting. You’d be a fool not to put stock in it this year.

he was ALWAYS going to do this

it would have been dumb NOT to.

This way Golden State can offer the 5 year SUPER MAX

and all OTHER teams can only offer the 4 year MAX

difference is like $50 mil thereabouts?

So if they resign KD to super max, what happens to klay?
