I went Wilt, Russell, Kareem, Hakeem, Patrick.

I like the symmetry of two greats from the same era on each end, think that Jordan's dominance should not disqualify centers from that era, and Shaq was too fat, lazy and undisciplined to be on my Mt. Rushmore.

You have Wilt on the list twice OP.

I voted Wilt, Kareem, Olajuwon, Shaq.

You can argue that Russell should be on the list but he was not as dominant on ofense as the 4 I named. Shaq possibably was the most dominant bigman of all time. The Dream had a couter offensive move for everything you tried. Kareem had the sky hook. Wilt is Mr. 100 pts in a game.

I know. Is that something that can be fixed without deleting the thread, mod?

Also, Fuzzy_McNut is an asshole & selected every option in the poll if that can be fixed. :smh:

Wilt, Russell and Kareem were easy

It was hard with the fourth

But I went with Timmy D...the most overlooked player in history

Dude has essentially been a center his whole career

The names in the poll primarily came from a top 25 centers list... Duncan was not listed.

Wilt - not only best center, best player
Kareem
Russell - a beast, refuse to lose
O'Neil - unstoppable and surprisingly athletic
honorable mention - Walton - never been a better passer at center

^^^ these are the greatest centers to ever play the game with SHAQ being #1, the only reason I put kareem on here is b/c he was the last of the old greats to really put it work in the late 80's and held his own...

but this dude came in the league and led the NBA in scoring his first three seasons, those muthafuckas had 0 competition!!!

will somebody PLEASE post wilt chaimberlains stats for his first 5 seasons...that shit is cartoonish, i wouldn't even brag if I were him, he played against NOBODY!!!

I vote first before I viewed the results, and found
that I was with the majority, except on Jack Sikma
whom I know nothing about...
