They play better when Yannis isnt in the game bro. Check out team scoring and outcome two games Yannis missed to end last series, the two game prior to that.. and the two upon his return.
Yannis and his poor mans point forward bullshit puts everyone out of position. Granted, Jrue needs to stop missing fucking layups, but their roles are changed with Yannis "runs the offense". And yes Yannis "looks" effective in the boxscore, but thats gonna happen when the refs dont call travels, charges, and carries and you take 2 foot shots, dunks and get to the line 20 times.

The Hawks should have took out the Bucks when Giannis was out. Watching them against Phoenix would have been a more entertaining series if Trae was healthy. Now we gotta watch the Bucks who are poorly coached & Middleton who dissappear for a couple games every series.

I agree with you. The problem was the Hawks inconsistent play as a team. They were on some, I'll shoot lights out and play defense every other game bullshit. The Hawks level of talent couldn't match the Bucks, and now It looks like Bucks can't match Phoenix's level.

Suns did what they were supposed to do. But the series doesn't start until a road team steal one. Gotta wait to see how the Bucks respond at home on Sunday.
I will say that at this point I think it's more likely the Suns steal one in Milwaukee before the Bucks get a win in Phoenix.

The fact that Monty didn't win that award just highlights the shortcomings of these season awards. The main problem is that they're not handed out based on skill or merit. Writers and other talking heads vote on the awards and they tend to lean closer to whoever has the best story.
And let keep it 100, people weren't watching Suns games during the season. Even though they had the best record damn near all season, the talking heads were watching and reporting on big market teams like the Knicks and Lakers. Tibbs punk ass had more eyes on him simply because he was in the NY market place.
I personally would never give that CaC a coach of the year award simply because he got D-Rose injuried. I give two shits how long ago that was, I'll never forget or forgive that. IMHO that alone should disqualify him from ever being in contention for that award.
