And you are right, most people were not watching the Suns play this year....I only watched because I play NBA DFS and people would look at me crazy when I said the Suns, Denver (pre murray injury), or Utah were going to the finals...People who play DFS and watch NBA knew the Suns had a really good chance this year...
The entire year, the Suns were like top 5 in offense and top 5 in defense efficiency which are 2 indicators used to predict who will make the finals...

Giannis might give you 40-50 points but it comes at the price of others not being able to get in rhythm.
Without him on the floor the 'others' can all give you 20+ points a night each. With him in the lineup, he'll give you 40, one of the others might go for 20-30, but all the other 'others' will struggle.

Heat averaged like 90 points a game and got swept. Bucks absolutely still beat them without Yannis. They then went 7 plus OT with a Nets team down two starters. Then struggled with the Hawks until Yannis got hurt.
