People want him to be a great facilitator, rebounder, defender and etc...While,at the same time don't want him to score. What's crazy,Collin was averaging 6 assists a game in the last month of last season with a roster full of G-Leaguers but that gets ignored.
He will never be a superstar but I think he'll be good enough to be in that 2nd tier or borderline superstar tier in his career. He'll be good enough to go to multiple All-Stars every season but not good enough to be a superstar player but you still have to gameplan for him due to his scoring and clutch shooting.
He needs to be on a team that has a superstar that can wheel him in sometimes but allow him be who he is. And,a team of shooter that will knick down shots. Collin gets into trouble when nobody cant shoot and he feels he gotta do everything himself.
I was actually surprised that Larry Nance defended Collin because he was one of the vets that shitted on him. This fanbase treat Larry Nance like he was a fucking superstar when he doesnt have 2% of his daddy's skill. They treated him better than they treat Lebron, which makes no fucking sense.
How do you feel about Mobley and Lauri?
There was a rumor that Jimmy wanted Collin but the Heat wouldnt cough up Herro. I don't know, how true it is but I could see Collin and Jimmy getting along great...
I think the issue is, saying NOBODY likes him....and is that personal or they don't like him as a teammate...that's why that shit is too strong. Because those are different.
They might not like him, because he works hard, he hates to lose or expects more of them.
Because that's placed on young players. If you're talking to a player and they don't like him and the people they're cool with on the team, because it's clicked up...they're going to say nobody likes him.
Just like Jimmy, he rubs some the wrong way, and others love him.
