My response was essentially how would he know what aliens would be interested in?

I don't give 2 shits that he is a scientist and am not even sure what point you were trying to make or prove by saying that.

I'm certain he knows more than I do, especially on the topic he is speaking on, but are you suggesting that since he is a scientist, he has knowledge of whether or not aliens are interested in humans?

If so, what EVIDENCE or PROOF outside of his opinion can he OR YOU present to prove that aliens would have no interest in humans on Earth?

I'll wait.

If this is a misunderstanding due to how either of us interpreted the original statement, then we can discuss interpretation. But to argue what he might know on the topic simply because he is a scientist sounds kinda ridiculous to me.

I'll continue to wait on the evidence to back up his statement/assumption though.
