When Drake releases his album in a few weeks (good timing...summer break) all this stuff, and the albums released before it, will be an afterthought. Hate Drake or not, he has a strong fanbase and support system behind him. Which means he's not likely to lose anything valuable, no matter how weak his diss tracks are.
Pusha has talent, but if Pusha wasnt connected to Kanye I dont think Drake wouldve bothered responding. Kanye has the clout, money, album sells, hits etc. Pusha is just on Kanye's payroll. Kanye also aint the "battling type". So going at Kanye is like easy bullying.
Drake has nothing to win or lose in these type of situation; from a BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE. No matter who he battles. He may lose respect from TRUE hiphop heads, gossip shows etc, but does Drake even value that type of shit? When u have super groupie fans that think your wackest songs are classics, you making hella money, etc etc......is battling even on your radar?
Some of you are either looking for Drake to crumble via a REAL LYRICIST or just a classic hip hop battle. Imho, you wont get neither. Whereas battling is a major piece of hip hop culture, I think a lot of these younger artist dont respect the culture enough to give a fuck. When u making "fuck u money" off social media buzz alone, why would u care about a diss track? Right?
