And Jerry didn't answer when asked immediately after...of course he was! They took the toy, couldn't pass it up. Right before the draft started, Moore said the scouting dept, Stephen, & WM wanted Ramsey while Jerry, Garrett, Marinelli, and other coaches wanted Zeke. The Cowboys stay drafting to fix last year's team as if the next season will be the priors. We got a stud, they better use him & win. Garrett has a tendency of forgetting the RB, how quickly they forget 2014 was only like it was because everyone was scared of Romo's back. Demarco was having a killer 2013 & they weren't calling his number enough.

What scares me about Ramsey is that he only could get 3 picks. And it wasn't because he didn't have chances. Dude was dropping picks. We got that on the team already. We got niggas who can't get picks. Byron Jones is our free safety. Everyone is hoping Ramsey becomes a elite free safety as opposed to a elite corner. I would've taken. Hell in hindsight.......i'm not sure if Ramsey and Henry weren't the better picks. But how good this draft will be will be dictated by Jaylan Smith.

Anthony Brown Purdue 4.37 40 time.
Hopefully he can keep up with the speed of the game in the pros.

I know it might not happen but if one of those later round picks stepped up and surprised everyone that would be great.Still scratching my head on that 6th round running back pick???

Smith will definitely define this draft. Those picks are troubling no doubt, but dude not like Jones...he played S out of need & ability, not because he's a tweener. He started numerous games at all 5 spots in the secondary & that flexibility would be welcomed in our secondary, especially considering that we only have 2 guys on paper next year. I'm just not a fan of taking a RB that high.

There were good backs picked in the mid rounds as usual

Watch one on them ball as usual

They better run Zeke into the ground

im happy. we needed help on the line to make everything else work. without that everything else is moot. we drafted a beast and an offensive linemen that's great at mauling people who wants to run through people's souls who grew up a 49er and who's father played for the 49ers.

those 2 are going to start and be a huge upgrade. i wanted ilb help we didn't draft one but the guy some of us want is a udfa maybe we pick him up

everybody else im wait and see on. our line was really holding everything back you can't even tell if you have a good team or not if your line ain't shit.

It just some reports on Ramsey that had me skeptical.

And its also troubling that the best cornerbacks in this league are all late round picks. And there have been plenty of 1st round flops at corner including our very own Claiborne.

I was one of the ones that was for Elliot at that pick because I didn't want Bosa or Buckner. BUT I had no clue Ramsey would fall.

Elliot was a safer pick. But he gives us a foundation as well. You can't build no team around McFadden or Morris. I'm not with that stop gap shit at running back either. But I do agree you could've got better value later on.

This draft was interesting. To be honest....it sucked to have a good pick this year because the best value in this draft was later on in the draft. If you had a top 10 pick you essentially had to settle or a suspect pick except us with Elliot. Elliot and Ramsey were the only guys who people felt like would be perennial All Pro type guys potentially. Wentz and Goff as well but they had high bust potential as well too.

Yeah I mean the intriguing part about Zeke is his ability block. Now that's an asset but yeah we got him to run the football. He better be a top 5 back in this league rushing yards. He better have more yards than all these dudes.

I wonder what position would we be in if Thomas Rawls came to us instead of bailing out to Seattle.

Not taking a running back last year really fucked us. Or maybe it didn't. If Zeke does the fool then I won't mind it.

I don't know if they feel like he could be a special teams guy or what. 6 Foot/220 40 inch vertical and a 4.40 40. His measurable are nice. Probably candidate for special teams or practice squad.

Brown's speed is intriguing as well.

With no 7th round picks....they used their 6th rounders on fliers. Chances are they won't amount to shit. But you never know. They have potential at least.

What's interesting is that I didn't know Rod Smith had a brother and I damn sure didn't know it was Jaylon Smith. So you got his brother on your team and the doctor who if i'm not mistaken did his procedure.....I hope its not arrogance on their part but they seem to have information on Jaylon that no one else does.

Yeah gotta have both lines on both sides of the football right. Bronco's proved that.

How many teams build around running backs though? A position that is often injured, rarely cashed in, & easily replaced by guys off the street. There's more busts at top 10 RBs here lately & Claiborne was a fucking reach and we gave up way too much. Claiborne was considered the top corner, but not anywhere near consideration for the top overall pick like Ramsey. He didn't really fall as much as teams went for the QB spot. SD fucked up their pick which is hilarious to see, but other than that...it went as expected. Zeke is complete all the way around, but like Sturm pointed out about R0mo's injuries...the RB wasn't on the field both times he broke his collar bone a few years ago & now this year

Everybody got the same information, but he's just that good! If he ever gets right...we have a steal on our hands. Most teams are willing to gamble like that. I'm worried about his size at 223, but we'll see. He could be special.

His brother is 6'5.No fucking way we shouldn't score every time we get near the 5 yard line.Hopefully Garrett doesn't lose this dude on the roster.

And if Baylor's Rico Gathers can get the hang of football again since he ain't play in a minute you got another giant out there to throw jump balls to.

browns didn't do bad honestly. their offensive line had pieces. they got duke back there they needed wr's desperately. that defense needed to be healthy
now they got a qb in rg3 they can actually do something imo.
