If Browns or the Eagerls win more than 4 games their coaches should be up for coach of the year lol.

In that case, the Browns gonna have TWO top #5 picks next year..

Was one of my favourite targets for us after the 4th rd. One of the most physical players in the draft, he didnt run very well at the combine ..like a 4:86, and not the biggest linebacker but hes extremely physical and instinctive, good at stacking and shedding olinemen and getting after the ballcarriers which is what we need from our backers in the new scheme.

Yall had a great draft too...jags, steelers, skins, bengals and vikings look to be the best imo. Mcclongahan taking yall in the right direction..2 offseasons this dude damn near transformed the whole team...smh ima need somebody to fill his water bottle with vodka and get him off the wagon again..

Word..we need some LB who can blow up running plays. Our Dline was pretty good in stopping the interior runs. But we got gashed for big plays on the outside.

Yeah man, Scot McCloughan making the Skins respectable again. (LOL @ getting him back on the sauce..) Outside of beefing up our interior O-line. Just about every need was addressed and we picked up a few extra picks for next year.

Jags, Bengals, and Vikings had a great draft IMO..Dallas gambled as Dallas does. Fortune was on their side too cuz Jerry was trying his best to eff that :money:money up...lol.. But if Jaylon Smith pans out. :smh:

There was a chorus of people here that wanted Horton in Dallas, we stuck in the 90s though trying to recreate the triplets & smash mouth football.

:smh:

Nigga was really trying to blow the draft on Lynch

I don't understand the appeal with Lynch...makes no sense to me.

Ray Horton is a very underrated defensive coordinator

All that fuckin idiot had to say was we don't talk about anybody we don't draft or didn't draft. Like Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert. Tomlin was asked several times if the Bengals didn't take Alexander III would you guys take him. "We don't talk about guys we didn't select." End of discussion. John just wants to hear himself talk cause he believes he's always the smartest guy in the room. Fuckin pussy. :thefinger:

I expect them to have two top 5 picks. They should anyway. That's the greatness of taking all of their picks and letting them are Wentz. They have no picks to get better and they should suck. I wonder when is the last time someone had two top 10 picks? It seem like teams with two good picks always have one good one and one decent one.

The Skins had two picks in the top #3 in 2000..We drafted Lavar Arrington and Chris Samuels...but you're right it doesn't happen often. I'm not sure it happened any other time than that.

Rg3 better show out this year because the Browns put themselves in prime position to get Deshaun Watson.

Damn.....did y'all hit on them shits? I remember Lavar was nasty earlier in his career. I seem to remember Samuels was pretty good at one point too. Yeah Robert is on notice whether he knows it or not.

Chris Samuels was a all pro LT protecting bum ass Qb's. I think Jeff George was the Skins Qb in 2000. Lavar had all world ability and at times was dominant. But apparently didn't have the work ethic to reach his full potential and he apparently didn't study.

I remember Jeremiah Trotter played with the Skins for a minute and he said in a Interview.."It would be really unfair if God made Lavar a smart player"... :smh:

Man, I haven't been to the Ravens games yet but we see them in October in Baltimore I'll be there.

I remember Adrian Peterson saying Ravens are the worst fans in the NFL.

Guess I'll find out by years end.

Didn't know that we had a draft thread and I'm glad I stayed out after glancing at some of the opinions on the Titans draft.

This draft was a B+ in my books. This was a draft built for depth with Big nasty guys that fit our system. We also got players that fought to be where they were in College. I loved the theme that Jom Robinson is going for. I can already see the identity forming. There was only one head scratcher with Derrick Henry but I've come around to it.

They tried to trade with Dallas to get Ramsey.Guess Dallas wanted the house so they declined.

Why? We addressed our needs. Carnell Lake liked Davis over Bell. I'm comfortable with Lakes decision. Got a offensive tackle who looks to be pretty good. And got defensive line help. If Alexander III was there we would have taken him but the bitch ass Bengals took him. I think they did a solid job.

I've seen the Steelers getting a C or lower on most sites I have to agree. Most teams had that corner out of Miami as a 3rd round pick :smh: but I trust management, they are the professionals I'll just sit back and hope they're right

Fuck those grades. You know the Steelers don't make picks to "look sexy." Leave that to other clown ass organizations. They did what they had to do with a consensus involving each position coach like they should. There's never one or two guys making the decisions like say the Eagles. They did fine.

Man everything that didn't happen for Dallas worked out for them.Jerry called Ravens so they can trade back to 6 because Ozzie said they wanted Ramsey and Dallas wanted a 2nd for the trade.

But come to find out after the draft they were gonna try and steal Zeke from us.If time didn't run out on us the trade would have happened and we would have missed out on the 2 highest rated players on our board. Football Gods came through for us.

I didn't know Boykin ended up in Seattle.

They got a good backup and a future star in this kid.

Boykin plans to stay in Russell Wilson's 'hip pocket'

Russell Wilson currently sits as the only quarterback on the Seattle Seahawks' roster to throw an NFL pass.

With Tarvaris Jackson still unsigned, the current depth chart sits with rookie Trevone Boykin, Jake Heaps. Vernon Adams is also at rookie camp on a tryout basis.

There is still a chance that Jackson could be re-signed, but at the moment the Seahawks want to see if one of the youngsters could handle the gig. Boykin, an undrafted free agent signee, is an intriguing option, because his skill set matches well with Wilson's game.

"His versatility and his style of play is so similar to Russell's," Carroll said of the TCU product, via ESPN.com. "He's got a big arm. He's a very creative athlete. He's got great instincts and great vision. His ability to run and make people miss and get out of trouble is very similar to what Russell does. I thought that the opportunity to have both those guys in the same offense, it gives us a chance -- if it works out, and we've got a long way to go -- if it works out, to maintain continuity with one of the backups."

Teams utilizing read-option plays as a staple of the offense often run into trouble with backup quarterbacks who aren't the same type of player as the starter -- i.e. a pocket passer. If the starter gets injured, the whole game plan might need to be scrapped on the fly. Practices also might need to be scripted differently when quarterbacks rotate.

If Boykin shows promise during offseason workouts, he could be a cheaper option as a backup -- Jackson doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon -- who could run the same offense if a catastrophic injury to Wilson took place down the road.

The electric playmaker in college can throw with anticipation, has an NFL deep ball and is Russell Wilson-esque in his pocket elusively.

The rookie understands playing in Seattle he'll be behind Wilson, but he's ready to learn from the Super Bowl champion quarterback. The two already bumped into each other in the hallways.

"He was coming out of the locker room, and I was coming in," Boykin said. "I just shook his hand. He knew who I was, I knew who he was. He told me he watched a couple of my games. I told him, 'I've watched more than enough of your games.' So I told him I was going to stay in his hip pocket and just try to soak up everything that he has to give me."

Wilson's hip pocket is a smart place for a rookie to call home. It's also a place defender never seem to stick, so it might be an elusive local for Boykin to set up shop.
