A bunch of questions surrounded Wiggins before his Warriors debut, including if the forward would even play two days after being shipped to the Bay from Minnesota. He did play, and in 31 minutes, he showed positive signs, finishing with 24 points, two rebounds and three assists.
Wiggins hit his first shot eight minutes into the contest, off a pass from rookie Eric Paschall. By the end of the first half, Wiggins had scored 13 points, including two 3-pointers.
Wiggins' most noteworthy performance, however, came on defense. One minute into the game, he played solid defense against James in the post, forcing a missed jumper. A quarter later, Wiggins deflected a James pass, forcing another takeaway. By the end of the night, Wiggins finished with a team-high five steals.
Wiggins will continue to be Golden State's biggest project entering the back half of the season. Saturday provided a good baseline for what the Warriors want him to be.

I really want to see the two LA teams as they are right now meet up in a seven game series. Lakers don't play efficiently when Lebron is off the court and the Clippers bench is weak outside of Lou and Harrell.
People talk about those two teams being the clear favorites but I don't think the gap is as close as it was with the KD warriors. They both have weaknesses that other teams could expose in the playoffs with some good coaching and schemes.
Teague isn't garbage. He's above average. You're trying to reach to justify and make excuses for Wiggins. Just be glad you got a first round pick for taking on his contract. Plus it's one less year.

Nobody with any sense thinks Wiggins is that good. He's not even Rudy Gay.
We need Collison, because Rondo's jumper along with his lack of defense makes him a liability. Collison can be a 40% three point shooter and help AD.

Because the Clippers beat the Warriors twice last year in the playoffs when the Warriors has the Big 3 healthy.
Yes the Clippers have different pieces but adding Kawhi, last years Finals MVP and the reason Toronto won the championship to their team.
Then also adding PG who’s also a top player in the league, one would just pencil them into the Finals and at the very least the WCF’s.
But fortunately or unfortunately, the games have to be actually be played before we can see how it all plays out.

All I know is Sam Mitchell had a young core of Wiggins and Towns and towards the end of the year they were putting it together and pretty much one of the up and coming teams. They had the flow down and they played together really well and honestly a lot of people expected them to make a jump to the playoffs
so they fired Mitchell so that Thibs could take over and get the credit

Subtracting afro-wig was just as big a reason as any and that's not to diminish Kawhi but again as we see he wasn't out there solo.

Toronto had good records the past few years, in the playoffs they couldn’t win or get past Bron.
Kawhi brought a toughness and experience that they needed to get over the hump. Raptors have good regular seasons, holla at me after the playoffs and we’ll see where they stand.
Kawhi’s injured, that’s why he needs rest. Just like he was in last years playoffs. I’m not sure what’s wrong with Kawhi but there’s something lingering.

So that's literally 3 of the 5 starters either won or were finalist for DPOY as well as the most improved player in the nba. and that was unique to last season and going forward with this season. Not any of the other seasons before it.
