I wanted to get League Pass just to follow the Warriors more closely but no way in hell I'm going to have time to even watch all their nationally televised games. I'm gonna be keeping tabs on it-- Living in an NBA city now and already got tickets for when they come to town-- but I'll be lucky to really be able to delve into it after the All-Star break.

:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

I wasted my muthafuckin' money.

I get that they basically have a completely different team, but at one point the game was 50-19. And that was way before Steph went down.:smh::smh:

And I'm not sleeping on the Suns. They clearly have a better squad this year. They might even be a sleeper 8th seed if they can keep up this level of play.

But damn Dubs, 50-19 before halftime.... again. At this point GS plays less defense than Houston.

Fuck that, Harden didn't do shit on this play besides a stop and go dribble that had his defender shook. He didn't push off, extend his arm, nothing.

Mufuccas just find a reason to hate this cat. Shit is ridiculous at this point :smh:
Foh. His entire game is predicated on bullshit gimmicks and whistle bailouts. Which is why he continues to fucking flop in the playoffs when that shit isnt gifted. That last play that sent him to the line was atrocious.

Niggas let Bradley Beal and 4 niggas from the D league drop 160 on them. Trash ass team.

Draymond said they didnt need him. Said he was a bitch.

I know, but they look so lost without him last Finals and the start of this season. Now their fans want Giannis to be the new KD and carry a 34-35 year old Steph the next few years. They know he hasnt been but needs to be replaced. I dont see it happening. IMO, this season will be karma for how they mistreated Kevin. They had a good run. I see alot of ex Curry fans becoming Trey Burke fans now.

Thompson out
Curry out
Durant out

This like the aftermath of using the infinity stones and having that radiation destroying your arm :smh:

I was pulling for steph this year too... I wanted that lil mufucca to put up video game numbers

Nah man ....nothing I have against Curry but I called this before the season in this thread that Curry wasn't going to last and would likely miss a lot of time this year. He's never been durable so I was laughing when cats said he was going to put up Harden like numbers & run away with the MVP.

My other argument was that dude was going to have to play more hard minutes on both sides of the floor and wouldn't have the luxury of resting on defense like he did on their championship run.

The play before that, the one that sent Bradley Beal to the line was just as bad, but I see you're not gonna mention that.

Plus Washington shot damn near 65% from the field and hit like 25 three pointers, maybe more. That shit ain't happening no more ever in their existence so miss me with that "they let a team drop 160 on them" bullshit. Niggas look at an anomaly of a game and want to talk shit knowing good and damn well that shit will NEVER happen again.

Harden only shot 16 free throws, somewhere in that range. So where the other 40 or so points come from?

And if the wizards had dropped 160 on us they'd have won the game so there's that :dunno:

I like steph and having spent so much time in the bay in previous years it's honestly the only place outside of Houston I'd consider living. I thought for sure he'd have a big season. And I know he fragile, but damn bro less than 10 games in and already hurt? I wasn't expecting this and am actually disappointed.

My thought was Russell would be point and they'd run steph crazy off screens like a young ray Allen or reggie Miller... just let him shoot 25 times a night. To me, and maybe @largebillsonlyplease can speak on this, it didn't look like they adjusted their offense very much. it looked like they wanted to prove that steph didn't need to score 30+ points for them to win, and that's not the approach I feel they should have taken.

First it was a freak accident. It wasn't some shit that is a testament to fragility. Any person in that situation with that same shit that happened would have broken their hand. That's why the cac that did it came up to Kerr after the game to apologize and try to check on Steph.
That part won't be mentioned and that's all good I get it.

Next, the opposite should have been done. I've been critical of Kerr for years on the record in here and I was told I was just speaking bs.
But now some of those same points I made are being considered and I sit back and just chuckle a little bit.

Kerr is stubborn and proved to be so. You have to adjust the offense and he didn't that's why the scores have been the way they have been.
The one game they said OK let's use Steph on the ball as we should it was a blowout win. Looking at that he decided to NOT do that again.

It's the same as in the finals. The defensive attention will solely be on Steph so it would be hard to get him the ball if a dude without it is getting basically double and tripled without it in his hands lol

So you put it in his hands and then everyone else gets open shots. It's not rocket science. It's a proven method that would easily work with any team Steph is on

We literally saw him HOUSE the Rockets in game 5 and 6. and COMPLETELY HOUSE the traiblazers last year all because his usage was up.
Only to completely ABANDON it in the finals lol

I'm STILL not mad at the team. I like all of the young dudes on the roster and I think they'll be building blocks for damn sure. The bench that everyone said wasn't good last year got revamped. Can't have it both ways. Say the bench is not good but then say you should have kept all those players we said wasn't good.

They were old and it showed and that's OK. Iggy barely playing and Livingston retired but somehow they would be putting in 35+ a night now that would be needed? NAH.

Even still the team will get better if he makes an adjustment the pieces to be competitive are right there. He misused Steph to start the year let's see if now he'll finally adjust. Or not.

He got hurt in the second, so it depends at what point dude is talking about.....
I know the 1st was 40-14 at some point

He went down in the 3rd.
My whole point with the Dubs is that we all knew that they wouldn't be as good as before, but this shit is beyond ridiculous. The product that they're putting in the court is just bad basketball plain and simple. And they're already scheduled to play x amount of national televised games this game that no one is going to want to sit threw if they continue to give up double digit leads before the halfway point in the first quarter.

It's the same reason why a lot of casual NBA fans are just now understanding that Devin Booker can ball. He been nice, but the Suns sucked so most casuals never watched any Suns games. I don't care to see the current GS product on national television 40 more times year.

Yeah I knew about Baines coming to check on him and that it was a freak accident but still... injured is injured and you just don't expect it so early on in the season. And I didn't see the game or what he was doing at the time but with them losing how they were it's a safe bet that he was forcing the issue or trying to do too much and had this happen. Could be wrong, but too many times that's the case.

The usage thing, wasn't Kerr asked about that recently? I notice a lot on social media that people have been saying that if steph is ssssooooooo much better than Harden then he should be able to easily replicate what Harden did and carry his team to a successful year without KD and Thompson. Kerr essentially said the team nor steph was built for that and he wasn't going to do it. So if your coach feels they aren't that team then you can't expect him to push steph's usage up a notch or two because he doesn't have faith in that actually working.

And I'm sorry... I kinda don't feel any remorse for this team. I hate the injury, I wanted steph to have a monster year, but I just can't do it. Green is there, Russell is there, WCS is serviceable and is there and yes their bench is younger, more athletic and better. This team's performance early on has been atrocious and I feel that their whole offensive identity should have changed. You knew KD was gone, you knew Thompson was out, and you knew Russell was coming. It's a bit arrogant of them to see their cards on the table and not make the proper adjustments.

You can't expect someone to do what he did and break his hand. I mean if injured is just injured then it shall be that from now on.

Steph is better than Harden. And it's directly because of the winning moments. People LIE and say Steph always disappears when he doesn't. He's above average and above average is damn good in the closing moments PERIOD. But ALSO we've seen him carry teams in the playoffs. We saw him house the entire WCF we saw him step up against a fully loaded rockets team that's the difference between them. Harden dribbles the ball off his foot and is passive and Steph goes scoreless in the 1st half then drops 30 to close the game out and the series.

It does work. The sample size is proven. You can't make white men do the right thing. YOU OF ALL PEOPLE know this with Dantoni as your coach and the simple adjustments he could have and should have made to push you over the top BUT DIDN'T so I know YOU get what happened and is happening.

Also I don't want anyone to feel sorry for the warriors lol The difference is I won't go into hiding

Also the entire offensive identity didn't need to change it just needed to be tweaked. Steph should have come out and been established as the ball handler and point guard which he can EASILY do and whenever asked to do it, opens up the entire floor for everyone
quite clearly it was a coaching issue right?
But now everyone will see what I have been saying in here for years play out in real time as he doesn't do the LOGICAL thing to do.
