Russ and Harden play well together. They always have. They aren't the problem. Either is the lack of bench scoring. That doesn't help but that can be overcome. Houston's problem is and has always been D'Antoni's offense first philosophy. That shit will never work in a seven game playoff series against the elite coaches.

Bron playing with that energy we haven't seen from him since that second year in Miami after losing to the Mavs in the finals the previous year. Like, "y'all motherfuckers thought it was funny last year when I was losing. Alright alright. I got something for that ass this season."
If he can keep up this level of play all year and the Lakers win a ring, the G.O.A.T. debates will be endless.

He's young, he has a chance to prove himself with Sacramento. He gets a pass this year because of Fox and Bagley's injuries.
He's the MVP right now. But they need to move the damn ball more. At the end of games shit is stagnant and he's logging way too many minutes. Its him and AD, and they are dominant but I'd like to see more action with Greene, Kuzma and the others down the stretch consistently. I've only seen 3 games live and it looks good, but they need to keep it up for another 80 plus games.
If the season ended today, I would give Lebron the vote off Lakers having the most wins in the league, and his improved defense, and leading in assists (Magic). Scoring and rebounds down, but his leadership up to this point is an intangible. He is playing well early, no eye popping stats, but better than expected.

Giannis might if he finishes first or second in East.
Lebron can get it, if he stays healthy, and finish with best record in NBA.
