On another note, solid win in The North tonight. Raptors v Rockets are always fun games to watch. I really hope these teams continue doubling James as he crosses half court. I'd go small every time and throw 4 shooters out there, or 3 plus Westbrook. The open looks they got tonight were unreal. This is basketball 101; the ball moves faster than any defense. Raptors were scrambling all night to the perimeter. Ben McLemore had 28 points on 8 made 3 pointers.
Westbrook had a triple double, Harden 23 on 11 attempts, and did a great job of picking when to attack and when to pass.
I like Harden, I just am not a fan of the style of play; but I grew up in an era where Basketball was moving, fast pace, passing, less one on one, less play calling, more improvising, etc etc; MJ changed the game toward more and more isolation; then they changed rules to bring back more and more motion; But what Harden is doing is crazy....I give up defending him on this board.
I'd respect these dudes more and their opinions more if they just came clean like @Amajorfucup and say "you know what, I just don't like James Harden." Just say it. It'll make you feel better, instead of constantly being proven statistically wrong at every turn with every point they try to make. They're going to beat the same couple of drums until the end of time so fuck it... let em do it

I think Steph and Klay will make noise next year. The NBA is better when the beige bros are draining bombs from 40 feet at a decent percentage. The early exit helped Bron get healthy. I hope they are competitive again.

Agreed. Knicks roster really sucks. One of the worst franchises in professional sportsAlthough Fiz probably deserves to get fired... You'll be hard pressed to find a coach who could do anything with that unbalanced squad.

At the moment, the 4-19 Warriors are the furthest thing from terrifying.
But a year from now, things drastically could change and that has the rest of the NBA in a panic, according to NBC Sports NBA Insider Tom Haberstroh.
"The people I talk to around the league are really worried they are going to trade that first-round pick, the 2020 pick, because if they load up with an All-Star-type player with that pick, they are terrified," Haberstroh said during the Warriors-Hornets telecast on NBC Sports Bay Area on Wednesday. "Or if they land a Luka Doncic in the draft, they're terrified. So that 2020 pick, adding to the group they have established here with [Eric] Paschall stepping in right away, man, I think every team is going to try to do a gap year."
The Warriors are expected to have a healthy Steph Curry and Klay Thompson back next season to go along with Draymond Green, D'Angelo Russell and Kevon Looney. Paschall has burst on to the scene and looks like he could be an impact player on a title-contending team.
The Warriors also will have a taxpayer exception worth around $17 million and a taxpayer mid-level exception that they can use to sign established NBA players.
And then you throw in what is looking like a potential top-five 2020 draft pick, and wow. As Haberstroh says, the Warriors could trade that pick for an established star or they could hit the jackpot and draft an elite prospect to build around.

The other 29 teams in the NBA have good reason to be worried. The Warriors could be scary again next season.
Now, we just have to get through the next five months.
Execs Worried Warriors Could 'Load Up' After 'Gap Year'

With the loss of Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets coupled with injuries to Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Golden State Warriors are 4-19 and will almost certainly have a high draft pick in 2020. This could allow the Warriors to reload on the fly and start a new trend of "a gap year."

Boy the Lakers win a few games with lebron playing good and niggas start talking cash shit...
If the warriors come back healthy, that is indeed scary. They could fleece some team into taking green because honestly paschall is a better version of him.... trade back in the draft or trade the pick into something better... and still have that back court...
yeah, ok.. you'd be foolish to not be worried about the warriors next year
Whoever made those signings needs to be firedAgreed. Knicks roster really sucks. One of the worst franchises in professional sports
Choke to the Raptors?Yea we're scared of 33 year old Steph and 30 year old Klay coming off year long injuries and all the bums that surround them. Didnt we just watch these dudes choke to the Raptors? The NBA has moved on, you guys should too. There are other younger up and coming teams to be worried about, the Dubs aint one of them. No KD, no dice.
Choke to the Raptors?
No KD
No Klay
CHOKED?
Lebron in year 18 next year? C'mon man...
Stay on topic, nigga.Oh so Klay wasnt playing now. Couldve swore I saw him out there in the elimination game.
LeBron in year 18 and? What year will AD and Kuz be in?
Dubs are injury prone and have no defense. Theyre the Warriors again. I thought you was a Rockets fan anyway? Yall got enough worries of your own, focus on those, like how yall can convince Mr. Landry's to fire Antoni if you seriously want a chip this era.
Stay on topic, nigga.
That's unbelievably arrogant to speak on the warriors as if they're done when they were winning before KD got there, were dominant and coming out the west every year, a top team defensively year in year out.... they son'd your great inkosi how many times when it mattered most? And you could argue the one time he did beat them was because of a miracle kyrie 3 pointer...
Niggas acting like the warriors wasn't running roughshod over the NBA when they were healthy and WITHOUT KD
Lol dude I'm a Kobe/lakers fan!
It was a joke with the word play.....chill

One reason why i like Kobe....if this was the lakers we were doing this to you best damn believe he'd have played 1 on 5 the entire 4th quarter and dared anybody (coach included) to say something about it....
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
He relies too heavily on his athleticism to get by. He has no killer instinct. He's a streak shooter.....if he's on, HE'S ON. Besides a spot up jumper, fast break, or dribble penetration he's kinda limited offensively. Post game is getting better, but still needs work. Another summer with Dream and he should get better.
This dude is way too talented with too many bullets in his pistol to EVER leave a gunfight holding ammunition. SHOOT THE DAMN BALL! This is his team......we keep talking about "well if ray do this or wade do that or if bosh show up....." Fuck all of that. Bron Bron needs to will this team to it's second championship and cement his legacy.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
U been listening? Buss says Kobe is ahead of schedule and could be back by PRE SEASON!
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
Well.....?
Don't have a problem with any of that.....and I'm a Kobe fan
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
Bron don't belong.
We all agree on that.
So who takes his place? Kobe? Magic? The Big O? Bird?
I'm just here so I don't get fined
Again, OFF TOPIC. We're talking about the comments you made about the warriors and you're here man googling old posts.
Were the warriors not a top defensive team with/ without KD?
Were the warriors not consistently coming out of the west and winning and going to the finals with/without KD?
Were the warriors capable of turning a 7 point deficit into a 12 point lead in a matter of MINUTES?
Were the warriors not consistently blowing teams out the water then sitting their starters in 4th quarters?
You're saying "they're the warriors again" as if they're going back to the WE BELIEVE warriors with Baron Davis and Jarrett Jack when in actuality they would be going back to a 50 plus win team that was a perennial threat to come out the west.
Nigga you delusional....
YOU mentioned the Rockets! I was solely challenging you on the post I quoted... that's why I keep telling you to stay on topic... which you've failed to do this entire time
Boy the Lakers win a few games with lebron playing good and niggas start talking cash shit....
And watch your mouth calling me a coon, bro...
Nigga don't nobody wanna hear about your fuckin childhood and what happened fore score and 7 years ago....
Gotdamn nigga stay the fuck on topic!!!
That poster is weird and delusional. Everyone knows it. I stop responding to that lying faggot. It's a waste of time. But GS will trade that pick, I think. A long with trading D Russell and the 17 mill exemption. All the players that are playing right now will become bench players, like they should be. So all they doing is developing them so bench will be more than solid. Add 1 star or 2 solid good players from the trades and boom right back to competing for chips.Nigga you delusional....

Yeah man, I was sitting here more and more like "I'm the dumbass for continuing on with this dude."That poster is weird and delusional. Everyone knows it. I stop responding to that lying faggot. Yea man; dude is a true idiot; and he never addresses anything; just tries to throw out random shit that dont matter; like hes hurting someone shit is wierd; but yea GS will be in a position to make some major moves; they are assured a top 5 pick; and if they get the #1 then that would be very fortunate for them; I think Eric will be a very solid/good player; Dont think they move Draymond unless its for a superstar player; I personally think they will just trade D Russell and the pick and a few other throw ins to and get back a star or 2 really good players; add that to a healthy steph, Klay and Draymond; Along with Eric and a bench; as well as a few solid veterans; they will be contending again next year for sure....Yeah man, I was sitting here more and more like "I'm the dumbass for continuing on with this dude."
Not once did he address anything I said, totally discounting the moves GS will make to get back in contention, and the return of Klay and Steph with a bench that's had a complete trial by fire this season... and in all honesty I really think Draymond is expendable with the way Paschall is playing.
The Golden State Warriors are far from over..
