Tom Benson was reportedly willing to pay big money to get the name back but David Stern said no before the Jazz ownership could respond, although the Jazz ownership was also unwilling to sell it back to us.
I personally thought they should have chosen a musical name, hell "Bounce" in reference to Bounce music, and the bouncing of a ball would have been "unique" and considering bounce music is played constantly at the games and in the promos, it would have fit well.
