It was a text, not a verbal statement, so the fact that he left "invented" in there means something. More importantly, his rephrase was addressed and my question stands. Oscar Robertson is literally best known for his triple-doubles and had many more than Magic, so it seems absurd to claim Magic made it noticeable.

I was thinking the other day that it was crazy that I am not yet 40 but have been watching basketball across 4 decades.
I started watching in 97, so I saw the tail end of the 90s, the full 00s and 10s and we are now in the 20s.
Four decades of expertise and unparalleled insight!
