NBA colorism is a real discussion. BGOL for at least a decade specifically rooted for light skinned players and players who have white family members to beat LeBron James. This board accepted Curry who by his own words is a "late bloomer" before LeBron James simply because he is light skinned and has a greater proximity to whiteness than Bron. Curry always is depicted as the good guy in their matchups and LeBron the villain, because dark skin and melanin is evil and demonic. And while this is happening the lottery been filled with hordes of biracial players who aren't rooted in their blackness at all. Everybody sees it dude. Being light skinned or mixed race is a skill in the NBA. It definitely gives you greater crossover appeal.
