James is a "lifestyle" player. Hes more concerned with cash, fashion and party scene than so-called "legacy". Philly is a good sports town, but mediocre at best when it comes to nightlife and social scene. James wants LA. He wanted to go back to Houston but Ime said "fuck no".

Don't forget to add Embiid is not a championship caliber player and other players realize this after they play with him. This is the third one. Harden knows they not winning shit there.

I was wondering where lebron was too

Smith had some very interesting and insightful commentary re: Wade's impact on LeBron's career.

[SAS voice] BUT [/SAS voice]

Does he call himself a reporter or a speculator? The whole basis for the conversation was bullshit. Talk to some people and find out what's going on, then talk about it.

They put the Bronny caveat in there but there could have been a million reasons! The speculation was unwarranted.

That entire segment was utter horseshit and a borderline disgrace. Particularly with a so-called reporter who has contacts everyone (according to him). Perkins was clearly going along with Stephen A's bullshit narrative but atleast tried to wedge in the family issues.

For Gil...

So no one tried to play like Magic?

No one was out there trying to throw no look passes after seeing him?

No flashy passes?

No one focused on good/elite level passing?

Gil might wanna sit this one out instead of using three hands to suck Steph off.

Steph can be better than Magic because he's married to a Black woman from Alabama. But he can't be better than Kobe cuz he's married to a white Latina from California and has a bigger crossover audience.

NBA colorism and preference for ambiguity is so obvious in 2023. During the season several tweets highlighting all the players coming in being light skinned and or mixed race goes viral on Twitter now. It's a modern day paper bag test what we got goin on out there. Steph's era helped usher a lot of this bullshit in, and the fact he can be so bold about his greatness is literally based on his phenotype and privileged background. Truth is the truth.

Bomani a bitch for farting in the room then leaving out. Steph makes this laughable proclamation and its cute and co-signed. Bron says he GOAT after coming back down 3-1 against a 73 win team and it sparks outrage and conversation about how hes disrespecting the greats.

Did Bomani ever argue LeBron's declaration was outrageous and disrespectful? If not, your analogy is nonsense.

I hope this is a bit. If not, you have the most deranged sports takes of any person online.

NBA colorism is a real discussion. BGOL for at least a decade specifically rooted for light skinned players and players who have white family members to beat LeBron James. This board accepted Curry who by his own words is a "late bloomer" before LeBron James simply because he is light skinned and has a greater proximity to whiteness than Bron. Curry always is depicted as the good guy in their matchups and LeBron the villain, because dark skin and melanin is evil and demonic. And while this is happening the lottery been filled with hordes of biracial players who aren't rooted in their blackness at all. Everybody sees it dude. Being light skinned or mixed race is a skill in the NBA. It definitely gives you greater crossover appeal.

I think looking at how players of various complexions are judged is fair game. Your obsession with who they are or were partnered with is the deranged part. If Kobe had married Brandi, history would look at him no differently.
