I never actually heard anyone speak on being on dialysis.....damn....shit you take for granted.
Agreed. We were preparing ourselves to deal with it at work. One of our patients experienced 2 bouts of kidney cancer in his 60s.
He had one removed, and a "walnut-sized" portion removed from the other.
Fortunately he's got a clean bill of health now (and hasn't required dialysis) ... but when the 2nd one was affected we were discussing things amongst staff as to his future health.
