I'll admit Dwann got blind hate for LJ but the stats don't lie.

2014 Kobe won 2 out of 6 games played.
2015 Kobe won 10 out of 35 games played.
2016 Kobe won 13 out of 66 games played.

2013-2016
6 double doubles total
2 triple doubles total

18.9 points, 3.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds
37.8 FG% 27.9 3PT%

:smh:

Bron this season:
14 wins out of 25 games played. (Already more wins than Kobe in any of his last 3 seasons. He was the highest paid player in the league those 3 years.)

13 double doubles
7 triple doubles

22.6 points, 9.0 assists, 7.9 rebounds
48.6 FG% 36.2 3PT%

This is a down year for Bron's shooting efficiency, and it still tops Kobe best season shooting the ball (2002). His 3 point percentage only trails 2 of Kobe's seasons from deep (1997, 2003). Simply put, this older Magic Johnson like version of Bron is better and more efficient than Prime Kobe.

DwannB and Kobetards are used to just projecting Kobe in convos he doesn't deserve to be in based off his reverence for him and where he was relative to Bron 10 years ago. That ain't gotta cut it no more. Just cuz LA niggas wanna overrate Bean doesn't mean we all have to. There was never a point in his career that he was as big as a draw on or off the court as Bron is now. Kobe never took over an ESPY awards or made us know his kids names by heart. Kobe's biggest games and engagement came on Christmas Day when he faced Bron. He was a great player, but his fans have become delusional in his death.

Eh.

I clicked expecting to see Wemby established in the paint and getting jammed on. Here, he was in pursuit and just wasn't able to make the block but I give him credit for playing D where many would have just allowed Hunter to freely dunk.

I kind of think Hunter's flex was a bitch move. He ain't Vince Carter, he just got lucky.

Numbers are about production and what’s being asked of the player, you’re better than that. :rolleyes2:
Numbers mean nothing if you are not winning. Compare wins....anybody can score 30+ a game(that is easy) but if you are not winning it is useless....ask Luka how many wins a 37-point-per-game average got him in the finals.

Bron is only 1 three pointer behind Derek Fisher for 2nd most all time in Laker franchise history. Trailing only Kobe. Bron does it in less than 7 full seasons. :itsawrap:

The game has obviously changed a lot since Kobe & Fisher won their 5 championships with the Lakers. It's stupid to gloat over passing somebody from the 90s/2000s in three pointers.

"Teams are averaging 37.5 three-point attempts per game this season, up from 15.8 in 2004." :hmm:

I didn't know Russell once led the NBA in all-time minutes played.

Bill Russell won a championship for every 3,700 played.

Even counting the illegitimate bubble title, it takes LeBron over 14,360 minutes per championship.

D Lo plays in this era and is only 4th. Kobe and D Fish were trash 3 point shooters that lived off volume. Nothing about Kobe's basketball career is impressive anymore. The most notable thing about him is his death. Nobody says "do you remember where you were when Kobe scored 81?". No, they ask " do you remember where you were when he died?" He's overglamorized helicopter food.

Who did he get in touch with with that 0-0-0-0-0 night?
 I'll be glad when dray retires, dude is useless like a bubble gum wrapper.

Draymond could go 0 for the rest of his career and he's still a top 100 player of all-time who was essential to arguably the greatest team ever assembled.

Haters can hate, but the dude is a first ballot hall of famer, his jersey will be retired and he's going to be relevant in basketball long after he retires.

Calm down, I posted the numbers to show how good was Jalen was doing with no fanfare.

Not to take away from Brown which is obviously the way that you took it.

Ja’s laugh :roflmao:

I'm old enough to remember when the Grizzlies beat the Warriors 134-95 in the playoffs... The game before the Warriors eliminated them on the way to a championship.

I haven't really seen Ja do much then except get suspended and injured but congratulations on a good December night.

Babe Ruth is not even in the discussion for baseball GOAT because he played in a segregated league, IMO.

But I'm not gonna hold being a trailblazer against Russell. He played in an integrated league and I'm not gonna knock him based on how integrated it was.

It definitely is a point in LeBron's favor over Jordan and Jordan's predecessors that he has dominated a truly global game and they simply did not.

Top 100 is ridiculous :lol2: . He ain't even the greatest sidekick. That's Robert Horry. That's Vinny Johnson. That's Michael Cooper.

Arguably top 75. Most people think Klay should have made the list a few years back and Draymond was arguably a more valuable player than Klay.

Draymond is not a sidekick. He's been the captain of the Warriors defense for a decade. It's a 1A/1B situation like Shaq and Kobe.

Kobe's biggest regular season games were on Christmas Day. But he didnt play the most Christmas Day games all time and wasnt part of the greatest Christmas Day game of all time that happened directly after he retired.
