}~~~> Official 2024/2025 NBA Thread<~~~{ the playoffs are here!!!

Rings are team accomplishments.. and Steph was playing 2nd fiddle on half is.. If its just a ring discussion then Robert Horry better than Bron too you dumb bastard.

Now that you've had your ass thoroughly kicked you can back in the hole you crawled out of you fairweather bitch you.
Again more dumb logic and you keep changing it up; your senile self is starting to show! Give it up old fart! Nothing you can say will tarnish the legacy of the best shooter ever, the 2nd best point guard, only unanimous mvp, the greatest performance at the Olympics, top 10 player all time, etc etc etc…

Oh one more thing, 3-1 in the finals against LBJ…

I know this is the NBA thread but Duke lost!

How many finals MVPs does Steph have with KD? ZERO.. He was a Robin on his own fucking team on some "Eminem murdered you on your own shit..".. .. Scottie Pippen ass nigga.

You can attribute it to whatever you want but the KD Warriors (as I refer to them not because of who was best but simply to distinguish between that mini-era and the legendary 2014-16 Warriors) were objectively better when Curry was on the floor than when KD was. So it’s a dumb argument.

So was he there or not?

People should look at Pablo’s reporting before weighing in on this…

Did LeBron ever even say he went? This wasn’t about “LeBron lied” or judging LeBron, though it will be spun that way for clicks.

I saw an excerpt and this seems to be a really good journalistic venture just to get to the bottom of a mystery and they show their work, a journalism 101 case study. I’m looking forward to listening to the whole thing.

Pablo emailed this out about an hour ago:

Kobe Bryant’s memorial service happened live, inside Staples Center, in front of more than 20,000 fans and the world, on February 24, 2020. The same day my daughter was born.

Which is to say that I missed the broadcast that day, entirely.

I did not appreciate how Beyoncé performed, and Jimmy Kimmel hosted, and Michael Jordan spoke, and the people behind the Grammys produced it as an A-list celebration.

But then a seemingly basic question became a key plot point — a mystery — in the ongoing national feud between LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith:

Was LeBron there?

I should immediately make clear, as we make clear in this episode, that I’m not interested in this question because I believe LeBron should or should not have attended. Even though this exact topic, I am told, has consumed the Lakers organization, behind the scenes, for a half-decade.

I’m interested in this question as a matter of fact-checking.

I’m interested because this topic is draped in so many layers of fandom, fear, concern-trolling, and media illiteracy that a series of conspiracies and false claims have continued, largely unexamined, for a half-decade.
In the middle of a debate about truth. Propped up by Community Notes and national outlets.

And so today, I ask you to listen to the reporting I share with our guests today — Tim Miller and Wyatt Cenac — at the outset of this episode.

From there, we’ll get to the original reason I convened today’s exploratory committee: to discuss the results of a new Rasmussen Reports poll… exclusively commissioned by Pablo Torre Finds Out… in which more than 1,000 likely American voters were asked about the political ambitions of Stephen A. Smith.

It’s a lot.

Yeah you probably right. I don't think we're there yet... one piece away... we need somebody with a killer instinct that can close out games... give him the ball and say GET ME A BUCKET, GET SOMEBODY ELSE A GOOD LOOK, OR GET TO THE LINE.

Just need to experience “heartbreak” in the playoffs one time and y’all will be on y’all way. Losing as a #2 seed will hurt but it’ll build character lol

Ime had Tatum and Brown and was still running the “everyone can take the shot” offense.

Not changing up at all. You're literally just too fucking stupid to follow and comprehend..

Yes.. he blew a 3-1 lead in the finals against LeBron. Clown shit. :smh:
3-1 period!! You can’t change history! Steph Curry record against LeBron James in the finals is yep you guessed it, 3-1; 75% winning percentage against LBJ…

Right again.. only 3-1 BLOWN lead in finals history.. Cant change it.
Don’t need to nor do I want to; when one plays sometimes you lose; that happens. But what separates the greats is they win and they win consistently. And Steph has consistently won against LBJ when it matters!! The ultimate stage he is 3-1 against LBJ. Nothing you nor any of your faggot fan boys can do about it…

Yes. With KD who was the best player on the team. Without him he has a losing record.. Nothing you can do about it.

I'm glad people care more about Bron attending a Kobe memorial more than his actual parents and Black family members. It's proof he was a coon and viewed as a white person by his own fans.

Also BGOL shouldn't get pissy about me speaking on deceased Kobe, since they're cool with media hacks doing it. There's a reason Vanessa quickly called Stephen A and told him to back off. She doesn't want people investigating his murder.

We seen this on the board. When Stephen A downplayed Steph's 50 ball, I called him out. But later in the week Steph fans Spider and Costanza are boosting some media hack that's attacking Bron's character off a memorial 5 years ago based off a Stephen A rant that he backtracked from. It speaks to their character and shows how disingenuous you gotta be to be a Kobe or Steph fan. That's why I don't know many Black people that like or cheer for those guys. Most of their fans be white people.

Because his career started off slowly due to injuries and the volume from which they are shot now, Steph's 3 point record prolly isn't gonna last very long.
