I don’t agree with every move Stern made, but he did usher in a golden age for the NBA when it comes to marketing, viewership, global appeal, and profit. He was a visionary. A few years prior to him taking over, the NBA Finals were only available on tape delay. He turned that league into a billion dollar operation.
Adam Silver has been living off of that for 11 years and now all he can come up with are gimmicks. The in-season tournament, the all star format, etc….its all bullshit. Hell, David Stern would’ve adjusted the rules, so teams wouldn’t be out there shooting 50 threes a game. He wouldn’t go for that bs or the fact that viewership is waning.
The actual game play was more inspired than a normal game, but it only last 15 minutes and we get a new team

It’s all the same to me. He knew he was having groin issues. “My groin has been messed up for a minute”. Those are his words. He could’ve said that 2 days ago and someone else could’ve taken both of their spots. I usually don’t gaf, but there are a lot of players that didn’t make the team that were really deserving this year.
