Spurs are in 12th place and 3 games below .500. Wemby being like this Ben Wallace type defender is a narrative.

If roles were reversed everyone would say Anthony Davis doesn't deserve an award since his team stinks.

As stated, none of the foreign players are great on their own merits. They all get a boost from politics and favorable media coverage, Wemby is no different.

His team played Saturday on a nationally televised game and got blown out by Myles Turner. Nobody watched or promoted the game. He's supposed to be LeBron's replacement as "league face" and @Simply Sickenin' says he should be starting over him in the ASG. Aside from individual box scores, Wemby hasnt lived up to the hype, but the narrative is he has.
 


The NFL stars suck. All their online content clout chases the NBA because their QBs and star players are boring and suck as personalities.
