Sometimes an owner and GM want's to try something new.
What she should have looked at was the GM who hired him was a HBCU grad, who became the Executive of the Year this year, and ultimately made the best decision.
Point blank -if you never coached under Kyle Shannan or McVay, the odds of you getting a job are slim....
And why aren't we praising all the black GM's and executives in the league?? I still don't understand that (and don't make me list all of them)....

I mix feelings about RC commentary. Lamar Jackson, stay true to his self. He didn’t try to whitewash his self, nor let anybody else whitewash him. He is who he is. Doug Williams was sort of like this, but you seen what they did to him after he won the Super Bowl. If Lamar wins, it will open up a huge doors for black quarterbacks like him because if you grew up in the hood you knew a few Lamar Jackson’s around your hood.
Doug Williams went to a HBCU. You don’t get no blacker than that and he was drafted in the first round. Doug even got heisman votes in the 70s while at Grambling.
That might be the most unconventional way ever to getting to the NFL at the QB position. In the 70s!
Like I said I fucks with RC and I might be Lamar’s biggest fan, but what Doug did there is no comparison.
You gave more details to my point, but that was my point that’s why I said Doug Williams was sort of like Lamar Jackson, but you see how they treated Doug Williams after he won the Super Bowl. Because of Baltimore if Lamar wins the Super Bowl, they are not going to treat him the same way they would want to, but they physically can’t. Also, I give props to his mom she made her son into a man.
