This feels very similar to Joker and Embiid. Jokic should have won but at the time he was a 2x MVP with no finals appearance. The case for Embiid was made.
As much as it should have been Lamar… I’m not sure if I want to see that black man get slandered for 3x MVPs and no Super Bowl appearances. Peyton Manning had 2 MVPs (03,04) and finished 2nd in 05 (Shaun Alexander) with no SB appearances as well. Voter fatigue is real..
I’m fine with Allen getting the award this year because hardware wise him Lamar and Mahomes now are all regular season MVPs.
I do think if Allen had one already, then Lamar would have won. He was out of this fucking world this year.

They're just putting people on the ballots. Nobody ever said Edelman was a top five receiver in the NFL when he played.....
