I could see that happening since the commanders got a lot of money to spend.
But it's the fact that he thinks the eagles don't need a QB to be this good.
What people don't understand is the eagles wouldn't be this good without hurts.
Barkley even said that hurts open things up for him because he can run which keeps defense on their toes not knowing who to defend because of weapons being all around on this team.
If hurts wins the super bowl, I'm sure that loud mouth fool won't be saying no more dumb hating shit about hurts.
To get people to shut up, they are going to have to win because of him. Like lead them down the field on a game winning drive or something. If the defense shuts them down and saquon goes wild and he's in "game manager" mode (sort of like Russell Wilson was when they first went) then i think people will still question him. I like Jalen and I want him to win this SB, but the questions will remain that he was just a QB that had great talent around him. It's sort of the way people really dont talk about Brad Johnson like that when the Bucs won there SB years ago. They had a great defense, good running game, great receivers and he didn't screw up. Jalen is more talented than Johnson, but thats where we're at right now.
People talk about mahomes being great, but don't even mentioned the great talent he has around him. They want him to be in the goat conversation so damn bad with trying to compare him to Brady.
No team can win it all without great talent around them. That's what every team in the NFL should be trying to get better at.
Hurts had his best season as QB the last time the eagles went to the Superbowl which is the one they lost and hurts was still being criticized.
People gave commanders Jayden Daniels all this praise but when that team gets better talent around them, I want to see if Daniels will get that same smoke they have for hurts.
No team can win without a good QB.
