Official 2025 NFL Off Season Discussion!!!

So, you're saying it isn't about race but they have drafted CAC QB who isn't better than Shedeur, with a player who spent 7 years in college.
Lolz if Cam Ward was available in the same spot where every CAC QB was taken, you think they would have passed on Ward same as Shedeur?

Sleeping on it, I wonder if some of this with Shedeur is a coach thinking....I could be drafting my replacement

Meaning...if I have a bad season, they might bring in Deion to replace me.

That's the case with Cleveland, Pittsburgh, New Orleans...
That's exactly what I said above. Who would want to draft a kid whose own coach father said he wanted to coach him in the NFL?

I don't think they would but then again, they're treating shedeur like he's trash or don't deserve to get drafted into the NFL because of what him and his father said. So, of course people gonna play the race card especially when they're drafting everyone else but him.

Also it's an excuse of them not wanting to draft sheduer because his father would probably come to the NFL when deion already got a contract extension to stay in Colorado as a coach.

If a NFL team wanted deion to be the coach, he would've been there already.

I would say the Steelers will take Sanders in the 4th but I seriously don't think so with Iowa’s Yahya Black, SMU'S Elijah Roberts and Jared Harrison-Hunte still on the board. One of those three will be a Pittsburgh Steeler. We need to stock pile that D-Line. That shit was beyond embarrassing giving up 300yrds rushing on the ground to the Ravens in the playoffs. Fuckin Y.A. Tittle can be the quarterback and you will NEVER win a playoff game giving up that many yards on the ground. Seems like people don't understand that. :smh:

same thing with washington.

Lolz at all these cats on social media sad about Shedeur.

What about all the kids who got drafted and immediately have a chance at generational wealth for their families?

If reports are true regarding his interview process, then it's really on Sanders.

Also, didn't Deion say something like he wanted to coach his son in the NFL?

What current NFL coach is going to want to draft his son with that hanging over their head? Lolz

Is this an example of NFL collusion? Possibly, but if he hit a home run during his interviews with teams and didn't have a father who was so vocal, who also coached him at damn near every level who also expressed interest in coaching him in the pros, Shedeur probably wouldn't be here.

He'll get drafted or sign on with someone and get a chance, but this is definitely a humbling experience to the entire Sanders family.
Yeah this is the one thing that bothers me with all this Sanders talk. We're taking the spotlight away from the men who were drafted. Hell, you had a player who's mom died about an hour after he told her he was drafted and more focus is on Sanders than what Harmon is dealing with. That's not right.

People were upset about them not having a moment of silence to pay respect to Kyren LACY as well.

I think this is where the narrative will begin to shift. Not sure Shedeur is still in the running to go some place where he will have legit shot at starting. The league has shown their hand at this point. Shedeur could end up landing some place where him and Dieon are no threat to the starting QB or coach. Maybe someone like KC takes him really late and brings him in under Mahomes and Andy. Have him "repair" his image for a few years and show he can do things the "NFL way" and then flip him for some players or draft picks.

Still think having a young core of Jenty and Shedeur would get Raider fans excited. Think Dak and Zeke when they first came into the league. Geno is just a stop gap for now. But old Pete/Owners might feel a certain way about the Sanders.

ESPN is doing a horrific job in their coverage and it's pissing a lot of people off. Mel Kiper Jr. acting like a two year old cause Sanders isn't picked yet is absurd to me.

Yeah, never seen anything like this of that Rant with Mel kiper Jr because he didn't get it right with a player being drafted with the top pick since it didn't go the way he wanted.

But nothing should surprise us about ESPN anymore and their lack of respect for certain shit that should be getting some attention.

I still think he goes somewhere a QB is needed. I think the Steelers will take him but not in the 4th. Another D-Lineman 1st. He may come to us in the 6th round after we grab a corner in the 5th. Teams are going to pass on him cause they don't want to deal with the potential of a circus. Who better to deal with Sanders than Mike Tomlin. He's the head of the dealing with the circus with Pickens, Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, James Harrison, Martavis Bryant, Ben Rothlesberger, Todd Haley getting thrown out of a bar on the south side...... you name it. The list goes on and on. Deion has a ton of respect for Tomlin. He won't interfere in anyway if he comes to Pittsburgh. Sanders will be a Steeler I believe. 6th round I'm guessing.

Only make sense financially..don’t have to pay Aaron Rodgers all that money.. Steelers can use a game manager.. he got multiple weapons to where he dosent have to overdo it.. Steelers tend to have good defenses so he don’t have to put up tons of points to win.. they routinely get into the playoffs.. to me it’s less stress for both sides

The funny thing is what’s going on with shedeur is what I thought could have happened to Caleb last yr.. in fact I made reference to it last yr b4 the draft.. I said it was more about power than race.. when Caleb was talking about he should get percentages of the team money I said the owners would fuck around and show Caleb who’s boss and not draft him. Basically saying there is no man bigger than the game and the owners showing the athletes that even though they are the product and the ones who generate the money it’s the owners that run things and to show the athletes it’s a “privilege “ to play for the nfl.. I’m wondering is this what they doing To sheuder.. if they are it’s crazy that I was wrong about the player and yr but right that they would actually do something like this

Oh Rogers still coming. Keep them and have Sanders learn behind Rogers and Rudolph

100% agree and I blame the media esp ESPN for all of this.

ESPN was the main outlet that talked about Sanders damn near on every show atleast 60% of the time. At some point that shit was so annoying I had to revert to XM radio where I could a better analysis about various players.

The only show on ESPN that didn’t talk about Sanders 70% of the the time was PTI and Pat McAfee.

Cam is right

100% agree with Cam and Todd McShay explained this on his live show last night. The Giants were high on Sanders, but he didn't do well in the interview process and they gave him an install package to assess (i don't know what this means), but he mentioned he was terrible. The Giants scouts were high on Sanders, but DaBoll wasn't after that and went with the QB that he felt would fit his scheme the best.

In regards to the Jayden Daniels comment, the Giants were willing to trade up for that pick. Daboll was in LOVE with JD5 because he is a mobile QB with an arm similiar to the QB he turned around in Josh Allen.

Bro, you hit the nail on the head. That shit is so sad.

Shedeur is one player, one story in a draft full of so many.
Deion made this draft more about him instead of letting his son be his own man.

I saw plenty of young brothers who were drafted whose fathers were there quiet letting their kids have the spotlight.

Yeah, Deion is a legend, a Hall of Famer, and college coach, but this was supposed to be his son's moment and him being so vocal about his son's prospective football future came back to bite them.

Reminds me of last year's election.

ESPN pulled a CNN/MSNBC.

Shedeur Sanders is Kamala Harris.
